I can't seem to open the link(I don't have Macromedia.. or so my PC tells me). Anyone else got another link?

edit: Ok, I got to read now, It's still all pretty technical, but the gist of it is Tomy gets Takara, as for what this means for TF and other Takara properties, it probably means business as usual, for now(but I could be reading this wrong).
Hehehe, so does this mean in the future we get TFs that change into Disney Characters? Optimus Pooh Transform!!!

Tomy's in good terms with Hasbro. Hasbro helped market toys to the US for Tomy like Zoids. I for one think that this is a good thing. Takara has been known to be strapped for cash and being absorbed into Tomy could mean a bigger budget for TFs.

To me, this is the end of an era. Takara has produced most of my favorite Japanese toys over the last 30 years.
I feel though that us fans, particularly those of TF should not fear. TF is a strong line and I doubt that Tomy will quash it. As for Microman, that could be another story. I just hope and pray Tomy opts to continue the line.
Who knows, perhaps with a new set of minds to add to the Takara designers' pool, we'll see even greater toys over the next many years to come!

Well, in fairness, Tomy has produced a lot of nice toys too, ie: Zoids. But it's also possible that they kept the designers of Takara, these are huge assets if you ask me. ;D
I also doubt that Tomy would take out the TF line. Seeing the demand of the MP01, I believe that they would think twice of cancelling a very popular line of toys. ;D
