I don't think it's because of the merger. The other BTs are still fine. Maybe it's the gun barrel thing. I want him to come out. I'm holding off Decepticharge for the BT version.
I'm keeping my hopes up. I believe they just postponed it. I did find it unusual that he never showed up in that Tokyo Toy Show which had Skids, Prowl and the Asterisk series.

With the merger and Tomy being the surviving entity, its more a wait-and-see thing right now.

Looks like BT16 will be Skids according to a poster on Tformers.com, wonder why the last minute change?

They had that problem in the USA because Honda there doesn't want to promote war, guns or something. That's why the Alternators version of Overdrive has a castrated weapon. Umm... Honda. They had that problem in the USA because Honda there doesn't want to promote war, guns or something. That's why the Alternators version of Overdrive has a castrated weapon. Well, I don't think you can blame Honda. Even VW doesn't want their vehicles to be associated with guns & weapons. But the Honda S2000 is just one mold, there are other different molds. I hope they take the time to make BT Wildrider a little more like G1 Wildrider, with at least a faithful head sculpt and color scheme. I'm pretty sure the design of the rest of the body is already fixed.
