I've been wondering if they were going to make a Transformer model kit. Is it possible or not? What are the pros and cons of it if is possible?  |

I think it was already done a few years back, the model used was the superlink prime. It can transform and merge to form the super robot. hope I was right 'bout this one.

I think they tried it on the BTR line but it didn't go well though. But the BTR was more like a lego-like design rather than a Gundam-kit style.

possible sya.. lalo nang nag merge ang takara tomy.. takara= tFs
tomy= zoids
ung knowledge sa kit design ng tomy eh magagamit ng Tf designers para sa TF model kits... I cant wait...!

They did a Model Kit for Superlink Prime and Superlink Scourge (black repaint of Prime) around last year, The item could still be seen sold in some stores here in the Philippines, I believe i didn't catch on that much.
But Jaxom is right, with the Merging of Tomy and Takara it wouldn't be a suprise if TF Model Kits do appear in the market.

But Jaxom is right, with the Merging of Tomy and Takara it wouldn't be a suprise if TF Model Kits do appear in the market. but theres also a rumor that takara will be cancelling tfs in 2006... so only hasbor will be carrying on the TF trademark.. If only bandai had the TF ttrademark... |

The merger will cause Takara and Tomy to combine, but Tomy will be the only name used. I guess Tomy would be the one to pick-up the line, since they have already been doing work with Hasbro for Zoids and other toy lines. |
