Hey guys, who do u want Takara's last re-issue before it merge with Tomy?
For me I want "Grand Maximus" of victory toy line. What a great exit..

Over the years, Takara has done a lot of re-issues for their major toylines like Microman and Transformers. They have yet to do a re-issue for Diaclone. Having said that, my vote would be for the Great Robot Base!  |

Any of the Maximus would be a good reissue. (Fortmax, Bravemax or Grandmax) Since getting them at this point is very very difficult. But I don't think Takara would be able to reissue another TF before the merger. My bet would be Galvatron would be the last reissue Takara, under its own name, will do  |

Eh? I thought that the merger was already a done deal.  But, if it's still not yet done, I don't think Takara will/can launched any more reissues before the merge.  SGP |

Info on it. for those takara fans, don't wory! the merge is not gonna affect the toy line much. think of this, Tf is nowe a joint venture of tomy and takara.

Yes, take note that this is more of a merger than Tomy devouring Takara. If they devoured Takara, it would be simply to let a failing company rot by purchasing it. This is more like what Hasbro did to Kenner. Hasbro's acquisition of Kenner was not the death of Star Wars toys, it was just manufactured under a new company name.

thank God... i was about to ask this question...i thought the merger will be the end of the reissues.. ...anyway... there are still so many characters out there that i want to be reissued... ... of course there's Sky Garry and Grandus... to keep Star Convoy company... ... basically, i hope they reissue all the remaining Autobot and decepticon leaders... Info on it. for those takara fans, don't wory! the merge is not gonna affect the toy line much. think of this, Tf is nowe a joint venture of tomy and takara. |

speaking of dinobots... there's an on-again, off-again rumor that the dinobots will be reissued... there's even a rumor that it will come out as a boxed set... ... i really hope they push through with this plan... Yup, too many need to be re-issue. From G1 there is still wheeljack, mirage, dinobots ..... Japanese series sky garry, granus, dai atlas, sonic bomber, roadking(?)......(i think I better check my list again for all those which I want to get and buy again hehe). |

Dinobots box set? drool! I don't really understand the hesitation on their part. I mean it's the dinobots for cryin' out loud! Me thinks they are more popular than Kup and Wheelie, right?
