Hi gus! I saw this Metroplex instruction sheet from TFracetrak.com and near the bottom of the Instruction sheet, it shows Metroplex in City Mode combining with 2 Robots/Vehicles? I know the other picture depicts the Aerialbots combining with Metroplex in Robot mode. Who are these Robots?Vehicles? that can combine wth Mplex in City Mode? Thanks!

its more like an aircraft carrier and rescue bay to be exact. ^_^ i use to have this manually from before. metroplex is kinda like, omega prime from Superlink transformers ( energon) this line was launch as for the scramble city TV special in 1986. it was know as the japan movie version equivalent of the tansformers the movie. since tf:tm was shown almost three years after in japan. so this is their sum what the movie. more like a pre movie to the original movie. part two was suppose to be galvatron vs ultramagnus but since the movie was announce to show in japan anyway, they didn't bother finishing it. Gian and mine are both the first wave tf metroplex rubber wheels version. the us version was short stock and cause of budget cuts from Hasbro, they release the second wave as all plastic version, like frenzy, rumble, metroplex roddimus prime, ultra magnuns ect.

Can't see the pic clearly...I'll just edit after I see it...
But the Aerialbot Silverbolt, Protectobot Hotspot, and Technobot Scattershot all have a third mode. Silverbot is an launching pad, Hotspot is a repair bay, while Scattershot is a cannon. They are supposed to connect to the city-mode Metroplex.
The scamble city limbs (aerialbots, protectobots, technobots) can connect to Metroplex. Sorta like a power up.
Similarly, the Stunticon Motormaster and Combaticon Onslaught can connect to the city-mode Trypticon.

yup that's right. unfortunately, the concept never did been apply to the series. but its is a known fact that, you can actually do this, in the japanesse version. Anyway, scattershot third form is a raddar summthing. in the japan version of the show. Also, even the the stuntucons and the combaticons have third forms ( not sure about the terracons) motor master can ber a car depo and onslaught can be a gun implacemen and fuel station.

Thanks guys for the info! So I'll need Aerialbot Silverbolt, Protectobot Hotspot and Technobot Scattershot and the Aerialbots to fully complete my Metroplex as in the instruction sheet?
Gusto ko complete sya eh hehehe!
Anyway, added question. Ok so one is Aerialbot Silverbolt which will form the ramp at located at Metroplex's right side if you're facing him. I see a ramp piece there...I don't recall Silverbolt having a ramp piece. So where is this ramp piece coming from?

Only metroplex has that ability to connect with the sub- components like the arielbots and protectobots. trypticon dosen't have that abilty. As for onslaught, you just place him where you like. there is no specific place mentioned. Concider them as outpost type or stations. just as superion, motormaster and hot-spot

Anakin's right. Though I think you can connect Motormaster's launching ramp mode and Onslaught's battlestation mode at the end of the large discs in Trypticon's city mode.

Btw, the Terrorcon Hun-Grrr does not have an official third mode. Kinda hard to imagine how the beast-mode Terrorcons can interact with a "base-mode" Hun-Grrr. There is a fan-made 3rd mode though...and it ain't much ;D tfu.info/1987/Decepticon/Hun-Grrr/basemode.jpg

But where does that accessory comes to use in the Silverbolt toy when it's not attached to Metroplex?

But where does that accessory comes to use in the Silverbolt toy when it's not attached to Metroplex? well. its technically a ramp. i think i still got the pic here. that ramp connects to silverbolt's crouch, in aircraf carrier mode. at the back, there's a handle there( peg) there... i think, you can attach that ramp at another garage or sumthing to one of metroplex's legs, or in robot mode, as a shield, ( i think)
