I have to agree with you on this one. i ratehr go with the MP prime. this is more like a rip-off now. This like the Go-bot prime.

Well first of all, I'd like to say kudos to HasTak... Prime is still a truck... Even when all TFs released in this line comes from Luxury Automobiles they were still keen enough to stick with the tried and true formula for Prime... a Red Truck.
Now as for the robot form, he looks more like a Giant-size Spychanger!! I just wish they add a little more POA on the legs.

One of the reasons why this was decided to be Prime was Takara isn't interested much in SUVs and trucks since they are very rare in Japan. They only agreed upon it as long as the truck would be Prime. Also, it looks like the legs are mistransformed.

though i'd really have to admit i like the car mode. i saw old rumours and sketches before that the dodge ram was supposed to be soundwave. complete with transforming amplifiers and speakers and subwoofers (the casetticons)

That's true. no wonder the tf Comemmorative seiries never click in the states. That's not all is bad, they didn't even bother to make a effort to give prime more articulation. A very sad move for hasbro. No wonder i just collect takara versions now.
