Here're more pics. Originally posted at the Macrossworld forums, the new MPC Opti Trailer is from the same company that made the first trailer, but now has Roller(with hoses) and a G1-styled sticker sheet and the cannons! www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=13057&st=1360.. a few noticeable changes(aside from the obvious) would be the new black colored underside for the trailer(the old version was blue) and the styrofoam packaging and you now have to stick the stickers on yourself. Is Malvin selling this? ;D SGP I don't think so....not yet anyway. If he were, for something like this, I'm sure he would've posted pics in the new arrivals newsletter by now. I'm sure he'll carry it though! I for one would want one since I held off on getting the older trailer specifically for the reason that I wanted something along these lines! Don't sell your trailers just yet fellas, I've been poking around the net and it seems the "new" trailer is really rare.
I'm not sure if this is a custom job or not since Justtoys(the company that made the original trailer) doesn't seem to be promoting this one that much(assuming that they're the ones releasing this one). Unlike the first trailer.
It might be possible that :
1)these pics are from units that "leaked" out prior to final release, in which case the chances are high that the "mass-produced" version will be much much lower.
or..
2) these are CUSTOMIZED/KITBASHED units, in which case the price will stick as it is(150$ on Ebay). i found only one auction for it.
