TFs in HK

Hi guys,

I just got back last week from my trip to HK in search of TF toys. Well, sad to say that there's not many stores over there that carry new TF toys but I found some shops that carry vintage TFs as I followed the guide (partly) given to me by Protoform-S.

Anyway, I found that the toystore at 16F Causeway Bay Commercial Building exactly as he mentioned ... Toyzone is it? Stacked to the ceiling with toys with vintage stuffs to booth and bargains. Found Stepper #15 for only HKD120 (Php816) and Soundblaster #18 at HKD380 (Php2584). Also, found the casette (Laserbeak and Rumble or was it Frenzy), Beachcomber MOC, Hungrr in box along with a lot of loose G1 stuffs for sale.

Also, a shop near Superman Toystore at the Basement 2nd floor of CTMA center sells vintage TFs. He has 3 G1 Predacons, Soundwave, Soundblaster and an Overlord in box. Also, CTMA caters to a lot of toyshops in Mongkok.

Well, just want to share with the findings in my trip so that whoever goes there knows where to look.

hmm... mostlty hk version right? i think the soundblaster is safe as long the box is japanese but if its us... Still worried about those unofficial US/HK versions... Most of themare bought in HK.. ( note about soundblaster. The soundblaster classic is only avalible as takara tf. i don't think they ever releast it as any other format.. ( well cept unless, its the TF Collection "re-issue"version) but if its a japan box, go get it! if its in chinesse, better not.)
