For guys that weren't able to buy MP-01, this is a blessing. I can now buy MP-04 with trailer na hehehe!
Thanks goodness I didn't buy those Hasbro Optimus primes that went for 7-10k. Serves them right for hoarding the Hasbro Primes ;D

Hey! MP-04 ;D oh yeah, are there anyone still interested in MP-04 (MIB and only days old) that's slightly lower in price? cause I'm disposing this after checking if all the contents are there and complete, I placed it back in.... it sucks this didn't reach my expectaions so it's a bit disappointing... I made a mistake buying it, Impulse buyer  the contents are placed in separate white "shoe boxes" (not seen here)  Alignment  Paint chips   Excess plastic on knees (not cut properly)  so basically, it really sucks. |

Hey! You also have the alignment problem dude? I thought I did something wortng with it. My other problem is that the O.Prime's right leg won't freaking retract into the squash mode when in Truck form. Ang hirap!  |

Ang hirap! try opening the leg up. the fuel tank button could just be jammed. its not that hard to fix. plus forcing it by pressing real hard on the button could cause the chrome to yellow |

Now is really not the best time to say this... but...
If you have the first version of MP-01, i suggest you hang on to it. It does not have the quality control issues that have been plaguing the reissued MP-01 and MP-04... the first release was really a masterpiece... design wise and quality wise... the only problem you have to deal with is paint chipping off when you transform it... but it can easily be remedied if you handle it well...
... It was all downhill from there... MP-02 Ultra Magnus was the first to suffer from QC issues... aside from paint chips out of the box, some MP-02 have missing parts... some don't have knee caps, etc...
... MP-04 has the worst QC problems... Some collectors even prefer the Justitoys OP trailer... if only Justitoys pursued the second version, that would be much better than the one included in MP-04.
... and I would really hate it if Takara comes with an MP-0X... this time MP-04 + roller...

Yeah, Hold on the the very first MP-01. It's really a keeper, quality wise.  BUT the MP-04? It's Crap. The trailer's nice though, but as you ^ said, it lacks roller. Still, the whole set is not worth getting, unless you're either a die hard collector or you have'nt got an MP Prime. bottomline, don't get it if only for the trailer. so......... 7.2k, anyone?  and yeah, I really feel the love right now, burning through my skin and melting my heart, taking my breath away Thanks a lot Takara |

oh my... must be very dissappointed... I was really keen on having this figure now I'm having second thoughts. I think most people are right to say that the only thing ok with this figure is the box... Production must be really in a hurry for this quality control issues to pop-out. Hopefully Tomy/Takara comes back and solves some quality control issues.

i wonder what happened sa quality control nila?...they must have been busy with some other toys siguro...
MP-01 prime was ok...and so is the Hasbro...
Magnus was somewhat bad...pero acceptable....
Starscream was ok as long you're careful with it or just leave him inside the box nalang...
MP-04 was disappointing...i don't know if the Hasbro is the same din...
IMO i like the matt/flat paint application on the Hasbro 2nd release...but are there any QC issues on the toy?
