According to my brother last night, he saw a commercial trailer of Transformers Armada, soon will be aired on Hero. We might see more Transformers series on Hero in the near future.

Really? I hope the dubbing will be good. I have a vcd set of Armada. The voices there are okay.

I think it would be better if they get Cybertron or Energon as well. They're already 3 years late I'm sure it's just the tagalized version of the one in GMA, unless they feel more diligent and translate the Japanese version. The problem with the U.S. version because it is chockful of continuity errors and wrong names (for example calling Sparkplug as Leader-1). The dubbers in GMA mindlessly translated the English dub so they also Tagalized all the errors. It is a good thing that they are making effort to show Transformers though. I feel Cartoon Network Philippines is getting paid well by the likes of Bangkee since it seems that only the toys that they are supplying have cartoons on air.

yup, Cybertron Philippines was talking to Hero TV about this during the latter's launching last year... and Hero TV confirmed that they are doing their best to air Armada, Energon and Cybertron... glad their deal pushed through... ... more power to Hero TV According to my brother last night, he saw a commercial trailer of Transformers Armada, soon will be aired on Hero. We might see more Transformers series on Hero in the near future.

That would be nice. It seems that most of the "popular" toys are the ones being aired by cartoon network. hope that they do justice to the TF line.

yup, i agree... i'm sure the good folks at Hero TV will do their best to bring us the best possible tagalized TFs... ... that's what they promised us (Cybertron Philippines) during the launch of Hero TV... just a little trivia... Cybertron Philippines was one of organizers of Hero TV launch... Cybertron Philippines was the one in charge of the display area... of course, we displayed Transformers... prior to the event, we had a lenghty discussion about the possibilities of having TF shows at Hero TV... they said they are already working on it.. I'm really glad that Hero TV made good of their promise... Anyway, it just saddens me that another TF group is claiming what we have built on... especially since their head honcho berated Hero TV when he had difficulty entering the premises... ... lemme know if anyone is interested in seeing how this poor fellow berated Hero TV in their boards... i have screen shots ;D That would be nice. It seems that most of the "popular" toys are the ones being aired by cartoon network. hope that they do justice to the TF line.

Now that's an entirely new low, even from them. PM me the screenshots, bro. This got me really curious.

i'd ordinarily be a little embarrassed that we're blowing our horns so much about this, so to speak. but this is new to me... someone's ALREADY blowing our horns for us? [EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW]
aaaaaanyway back on topic. i'm glad to see Transformers getting SOME media play locally. GMA 7 had Armada, and now it's going to be circulating on a much more spacious home on HeroTV... hopefully they manage to follow up with Energon [and they might even do a better job dubbing it than NA company Voicebox did]. TF: Cybertron will definitely be a ways off still, but it's nice to have a potential home for the show/s as early as now.
at the very least, we'll have new sources of Tagalog TF quotes. ;D

If some other group would "claim" they did this and that well... ala naman paki mga tao sa kanila eh. At least, you guys did what you can do have the new TF series aired here (Cartoon Network can't do it for some reason). Hope it will be good and complete so everyone will be happy. ;D

Uhmm, I would like to request the screenshots on such statements released regarding the claim that this "other" group has "jumped the shark" on laying claim on the release of TF Armada on Hero TV. As for the issue on the Hero TV launch party, I was there too. I saw the fracas that ensued on the event. It was hard looking at a little girl who had half her reddened face buried on the arse of the man in front of her, desperate to be part of the grand event. Everyone was pushing on all directions that I couldn't raise my hands to cover my nose when someone was being pushed hard enough to fart. Twice.(The second part was very funny in retrospect, though). I had flashbacks of attending Game 7 of the Purefoods/San Miguel match back in the 80's, when my aunt decided it was too dangerous to stay in line in ULTRA and I had to watch it on TV instead. We have Armada, we may have Energon and Cybertron. Let's just enjoy the show and make fun of what gets lost in translation. But I'm serious on the screencaps, as I am at a crossroads at this point. I will update this if necessary otherwise.

Uhmm, I would like to request the screenshots on such statements released regarding the claim that this "other" group has "jumped the shark" on laying claim on the release of TF Armada on Hero TV. That can be arranged. As for the issue on the Hero TV launch party, I was there too. I saw the fracas that ensued on the event. It was hard looking at a little girl who had half her reddened face buried on the arse of the man in front of her, desperate to be part of the grand event. I had flashbacks of attending Game 7 of the Purefoods/San Miguel match back in the 80's, when my aunt decided it was too dangerous to stay in line in ULTRA and I had to watch it on TV instead. I think this year they will hold the event at an even bigger venue. We have Armada, we may have Energon and Cybertron. Let's just enjoy the show and make fun of what gets lost in translation. Yup, Hero will eventually bring in the other 2...Cybertron being the last one since it is the most recent. However, the issue here is that the other group is taking credit for the work of Cybertron Phils. But I'm serious on the screencaps, as I am at a crossroads at this point. I will update this if necessary otherwise. It can be provided.

Hello... We always see each other in gh and events. Sometimes in Makati when I'm there. But it is unfortunate that we never had the chance to talk. Glad that you are serious on the screencaps. Let me assure you that I am always serious when it comes to Mark Cerbo. We have a very looooong history... and suffice to say I am getting tired of his antics especially his backstabbing. Anyway, Mark (I'm sure you will read this anyway) if you are a wee bit curious about what I have on you... suffice to say that if you did it on-line, i have it. From your attacks to individual collectors to transgressions to collectors group (especially Cybertron Philippines). Even if you love editing your post to clean your mess up, i would like to inform you that it's too late... i got them! Let's start with the basics. I guess you have to be contented with this for the meantime... But this is nothing to what I'm going to send to the people concerned. oh... one last this, JP... I think you should see this... cerbojam (9/17/2005 11:44:48 AM): well those other customers where former members of Transformers na feeling exclusive sila kaya thats a bit of the little story.. cerbojam (9/17/2005 11:45:28 AM): yuo know putoform s, gayjp and thunderbeak. GaoJP and Protoform... did Mark Cerbo call us names? I think he did... JP, I will send you the whole thing later

I'm not sure if you mean my post on top... or this one... ... it would also interest you that Mark Cerbo already reacted to my post... that's might quick of you Last Toycon, we requested to Hero TV that they air a Transfomers TV series on their channel. Looks like they answered our request and according to my brother last night, he saw a commercial trailer of Transformers Armada, soon will be aired on Hero. I don't know if my brother said was true, either way; we made another first for our group. LET'S ROCK AND ROLL OUT!!!

Guys, Let's do our best not to stir the hornet's nest here. If there are those that are interested in the events described above, perhaps its best coursed via PM or other means. Thanks, Garvy
