I think this is every TF collector's nightmare. You over transform your toy and before you know it, whola -- loose joints. I got this problem with my G1 Soundwave but I came across a tip while reading some user comments on MP01 at Amazon. Well, like the old saying The more you read the less you know. I tried it and it really works!
"Here's a tip I got from someone else that works well if the joints (in this or any transformer) get too loose. Use clear nail polish on the inside of the joint, wait for it to dry and then put the leg/arm/foot etc. back on. It works really well. For the first time in years, my Grimlock stands properly. Woo-hoo. "
Hope this helps.
Do you have any other tips? Please share.

Thanks for the tip, viper. Now we can enjoy transforming TF's without any problems on loose joints.

it's always good to see information like this repeated elsewhere. more and more people get wind of it. a good idea is also to lightly wash the ball and socket joint with a very little amount of soapy water. this gets rid of any excess mold-release oil. for tightening ball joints there's also super glue... but not the way you think. put a dot of super glue onto the socket surface, slot the ball in, roll it around to smear the glue into a layer just thin/thick enough to fill the extra gap, remove ball joint from socket, let dry. needless to say, do not let it dry with the ball in the socket. - last "there's also Blu-tak" maximal
