Is the excalibur model the same as the VFX blue version? Yah...what's the excalibur version? VFX/Excalibur is the 3rd ed. with a lot of improvements from the previous. And it's colored blue. |

So that's what the prduction VF-19 is called  Thnaks for the info. I always called the VF-19 in the VF-X Ravens game "Mass Poduction" version of the YF-19  Just wondering, what is the color of the Mass produced YF-19? Is it the Excalibur or is the Excalibur the custom paint job of the VFX? |

The YF-19 would then evolve into the VF-19 which would then be used in the Macross 7 series spawning different variants among them the most famous one, the VF-19 Kai "Fire Valk". The mass produced VF-19 is the VF-19f and is differentiated with having one antenna on its head. A command model was also produced for squad leaders dubbed VF-19S. A toy of the VF-19S was released for the Macross 7 line which is also known as the Blazer valk. The VF-19 in the VFX game is an alternate color scheme of the VF-19 specifically made for the video game. This model was called the VF-19A. Unlike the VF-19F, the antenna on the VF-19A is thinner. Also the Excalibur is the official code name of all VF-19 variants not just limited to the one in the VFX game. All VF-19 models are called Excalibur. |

Thats the one used by Emerald squadron in Macross 7. There have been no actual colored pics of the mass produced Vf-19 but if we were to base it on Macross 7's emerald Squadron it would be dark blue. |
