I'm definitely going to be getting one of these from greattoys, i got the old vintage matchbox sdf-1 from gt greenhills a few months ago and that was a blast, given the detail on this sdf-1 coming out, there's absolutely no reason for me not to get it as well, i just wish it were a bit bigger, maybe 3ft tall or something like that, just so that it wouldn't look small beside yamato 1/48's

Hey gang here're some more clearer pics of the Macross SDF-1 from Wave toys. www.hlj.com/product/WAVMC-41Hmm.. "transformable completed model " comes already assembled and will supposedly have diecast parts. Ship mode is 10 inches long. The arms do worry me a bit. Those seem like easily breakable joints. Gold

hmmm... is this a kit or is it a finished version? from hlj's description: www.hlj.com/product/WAVMC-41"Wave's upcoming SDF-1 is set to be a gorgeous die-cast metal and plastic rendering of the classic transforming space vessel from Macross. In cruiser mode, it will measure about 24cm (10 inches) long. The design and coloring of the model is based on its appearance from "Macross: Ai Oboeteimasu ka?" (Macross: Do you Remember Love?). The SDF-1 will be able to transform between three different modes (without removing any parts!), and will come with multiple stands to allow you to display your model proudly no matter what form you've chosen to show it in!"somehow i dont like the idea of a transformable mecha being composed of metal and plastic parts...

I believe I read on the macrossworld site that sdf-1 would be sold fully assembled (I sure hope so, because i'm really bad at assembling stuff, hehe)
