Now that you mention it Kawamori is really a renowed lego artist base on some lego books even in magazines. I think his work place was featured in figure king magazine(correct me if I'm wrong, the one with the eva clear yellow revoltech) he even had a full soccer field made out in lego blocks and figures. He make his mecha transforming design using lego(take that!!! computerize CAD program ;D !!! ), its just amazing how simple he make these complicated transforming toys.

Trivia: Sv-51 and MP Starscream are also came from his lego transforming designs

Oh BTW episode 1 torrent is already up

Remember people we started building our own Voltrons when we were young! Just Like Kawamori! I dont know if you guys had the same elemntary toys we had (Lego like plastic dumbell blocks). ;D

just finished watching a sub copy of the first espiode. superb animation! it's like watching a Macross movie. yay! great dog fights sequences too! and they have a whole platoon of Ghost fighters from Macross Plus for defense line. nice.

and i love the new VF-25. ;D

anyway dont worry bro the series is actually due april 2008 actually this is like an christmas present for us macross fan. Its a special presentation for the month of december and in some forum its like an epilogue of the upcomming series. You can actually download the episode via torrent at "animesuki" just google it
