Hey guys, I got a question. I heard some people calling the gransazers Tokosatsu. from what I know, Tokosatsu has only 1 main protagonist fighting ll the bad guys while the sentai has 5 or more members. there are 12 gransazers, as we all know. so which is which? I also enjoyed this show. It's not that repetitive and tedious every episode unlike Bioman and Power rangers.

Toku is basically described as japanese sci-fi live action shows with different categories under its wing. Gransazers is not part of Sentai. Sentai shows are those series produced by Toei studios among those Bioman and Zyuranger from which Power Rangers was taken from. Gransazers, which is produced by Toho studios, is in a category of its own but can still be classified as Toku. For clarification, Ultraman, Shaider and Kamen Rider are not classified as Sentai as these shows are categorized differently. |
