The latest Sentai series is in town: THE BOUKENGER
I recently saw the first episode of the Boukenger. The theme for this series is Adventure/Treasure Hunting. It has a mixture of Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, Charlie's Angels, and Lord of the Rings.
Interesting point:
- BoukenYellow has the ability to sense danger even before it could happen.
-BoukenYellow is the "not-so-smart" among the team.
-the main item that the team are searching is called "The Precious" (not so original).
My Prediction:
-the 6th ranger is a part of the extreme adventure team. He/she might carry a whip
-the vehicle/vehicles of the 6th ranger will be off-road types.

now,about boukenhunter:
he has the same random civillian forms as shurikenger and he is played by even more fomer sentai actors.

On ep. 11, we get to see the second form of daibouken, the Super DaiBouken. Not bad looking.

grapevine has it that the 6th ranger is called Bouken Silver. His vehicles are rescue-type namely:
DX SIREN BUILDER
a. gougou fire
b. gougou aider (ambulance)
c. gougou police
- gougou fire serves as the main body and legs. Aider and police are the hands. It has sounds and LED lights.
the Bouken Winger, which is a combination of the auxiliary vehicles 6–10. It looks odd to me; I don't know why they didn't give the torso part of the Jet a little more complexity: the way it looks now, it's honestly just a box shape with arms and legs. This the ten-vehicle Ultimate Daibouken.

Boukenger 15 and 16 are out... here's a few tips on what to expect without giving away too many spoilers
... 15 and 16 are a two part special
... check ep. 16's opening sequence... you will notice some subtle changes from previous opening sequences
... The actor who plays Ragi (in human form) looks very much like GaoBlue (thanks to BlackBison for pointing that out)
... Ultimate Daibouken
... The top part of GouGou Jet is similar to the Goranger's Varidorin... maybe this is a tribute to Varidorin...
There will be more surprises in episode 17 ... can you say "Takao Eiji"
... oh, and Gou Gou Sentai Boukenger The Movie (The Most Powerful Precious) will be shown on August 5, 2006

by next year,disney/saban has something special for all of us (americans and filipinos in america): the 15th season of power rangers w/c will be also celebrating it`s 15 years of bringing super sentai to america (zyuranger-boukenger) since 1993.give our regards to them on our behalf! please trust them ok?

Mahirap ang pinapagawa mo friend. How can we trust a TV/Film company that distorted the coolness of a sentai show? When i watched the crossover of Dino Thunders and SPD, and saw the American version of Doggie Kruger, he looks like crap. The Guard Dog of Hell was demoted from a BAD DOG to a poodle |

didnt Kai Samezu play Gaoblue ;D It's the 30th anniversary of sentai... so expect more sentai alumni to make a come back... so far there are already 4... Mr. Voice's voice actor - He's the narrator for all previous sentai anniversary series. He's also the narrator of Goranger Koji Shimizu played Jimon Kagawa (he's the story teller that Boukenred idolized as a kid). Koji Shimizu also played Great Professor Lee Keflen (main villain in Flashman) Mike Maki who played Magi (the old guy in episode 15 and 16) once was Prof. Tatsumi Mondo (professor who created the Go Go V's weapons, suits and mech) in Go Go V Kai Samezu who played Ragi's human form in episode 15 and 16 once portrayed GaoBlue in Gaoranger... ... one last thing... the PR counterpart of Boukenger is rumored to be called Power Rangers Relic Hunters ;D |
