I've watched first 4 episodes of SPD in a pirated cd, then I compare it with my deka series, sa roll call palang wala na ang PR SPD, then ang daming footage kinuha sa deka..

i tried watching this "SPD" version of deka, my reaction was HUH!? Bakit nila ini-overhaul ang costume ni Doggie Kruger. And what's up with the "HIYAAA, NYAA" screams. Para silang uminom nang super laxative. At akala ko bawal ang "GUNS" sa American TV. "BAKA MA-INFLUENCE ANG MGA YOUNG ONES NILA THAT GUNS ARE GOOD". FYI, since when were guns banned from being shown in American TV? It was the selling of toy guns that are being regulated. Get your facts straight.  As to why they look different from the super sentai series? Because it is power rangers. Buti nalang pinull-out ng Japanese producers ang kamen rider series. Bira mo magiging too kiddy sila. Power Ranger shows are too "kiddy" coz their primary audience are kids.  -Another kapalpakan ng "POWER RANGERS" mystic force, dalawa lang magkakapatid. Unlike in Magi, may theme. Sa power rangers walang theme. All the American producers want is to just sell,sell,sell. At least sa mga Japanese producers, they balance on selling their products and promote some values on their shows. There is still a theme. It's just that you probably weren't paying attention to it. As to promoting values on their shows, I don't think you are in any position to give such a claim. Also, both the Japanese and American producers also have products to sell. The lineup is virtually the same. Each side may have its own exclusives. I think its a given that PR: SPD will have footages from Dekarangers. Also, why just compare 2 series based on the cast alone? That's pretty shallow don't you think?  I'm not for Power Rangers...I'd rather watch super sentai series. But that doesn't give me any right at all to bash PR. Finally, I hope you 2 remember the all english rule in this board. Power Rangers IS NOT EQUAL to Sentai. Its two different things. Apples and Oranges. The storyline of Power Rangers shouldnt really be likened to Sentai so trying to find similarities in them would'nt really make sense since they both have their own independednt stoyrylines.
Again you dont like PR, then dont watch it. Its an endless debate with no real endeing. Bottomline, the only thing Sentai and PR have in common are the costumes, mecha and wepon design. Aside from that treat the other aspects of the show as something different.

I agree with UltimateGaoJP. Treat both series differently. If you like one over the other, then just watch one of them.

SGP i second JP's opinion and petey's as well... i both watch the power rangers series and the super sentai series and i treat them diffrntly and i dont compare them... its my first time to be a hardcore PR fan |

finished the whole series, on cartoon network...
the so-called "A-SQUAD" has "power rangers in space" uniforms but with a few more "ADD-ONS"
it was soo obvious...
