we'll i just want to share this.. to all sentai fans.. who wants a cheap sentai helmet.. STEPS>>> First, you need to make a mold. Mine is made out of strips of folders then i put paper mache to make it more strong round-like. To be sure it is strong, i suggest 3 layers of paper mache. Then i cut out the mold for the visor part.   After that I put "MASILYA" on the helmet as the final layer. i put about 3 layers of masilya.. so that i can achieve a hard and strong surface..  and then, i smoothen it using a sand paper... after that.. you can now apply the paint..    i applied about 3 layers of paint for this helmet.. and here is the outcome..  after that.. ive added the details.. like the visor.. i used an old x-ray foil as a cheap alternative.. and attached the clip cocks on the side.. and here is the finished product! *tah dah*  |

thanks for viewing guys! enweis... @bluenarobot: hmmm Masilya, you can buy this from any local hardwares, it is used to smoothen a wood surface.. but you can also use this on paper.. redranger: ryt now, im thinking.. cause making this one tooks time... and im kinda busy right now.. so i'll just inform you ASAP if i can take orders.. ninja bajeena: actually i made this for my friend who joins cosplay compition, and this costume won some awards.. so you can wear this one... and here are some pics..    and here's another sentai helmat and costume.. hope you like it guys..  |

Since i got very interested with what chrono did (not to mention envious  ), i started out makin' one for myself. I used some illustration board(not to thick) to make the frame for my Redmask Helmet... So here it is. initial helmet frame......   Then i put some extra frames to make the helmet a bit stronger.   Thats all for now,,, i've slept late last night doing it so...next thing is i'll put some wire the stiffen the helmet frame and some additional frames..... To be continued...... |
