I think the Kaiyodo Cammy that were sold locally at lower prices were QualityControl rejects... Its quite obvious with all the problems on the paint, mismatched bases, brittleness of the PVC and more...Its quite a shame really, it is one of the best looking Cammy figures I've seen...

They're not necessarily QC rejects. I've read on a couple of Japanese boards that Kaiyodo had a high demand for the figures because the initial release was supposedly 'limited' and too expensive for some. Kaiyodo hurriedly went into production to meet the demand, and release them for a lower price. Unfortunately, it looks like the figure suffered in the end.
