... i dunno why i'm currently pursuing DC toys... sabbatical with SRs and TFs... at least for the meantime... but will get back to them soon..

me, i like the storyline of DC...specially the JLU animated series. a friend of mine reintroduced me to DC a few years back, after reading the Paralux series and Kingdom Come. Ewan but I find it more interesting. To Sir Thunderbreak, hats-off cuz you are DA MAN!

Fenrir... the Justice Lords pack is already out in malls... the good news is price of the 3-packs went down from 800 to 700... ;D

Thanks for the kind words, mattracker... DC Comics, after suffering a lot (story and artwise) during mid to late 90s, is back big time... you should read identity crisis, green lantern rebirth and the on-going infinite crisis... these will definitely get you into collecting DC figs ;D

matttracker, i'm sure toytown will restock jlu justice lords... they have the best track record when it comes to restocking hot items... ;D

i have a feeling that you are right, matttracker I already started updating my japanese collectibles last week... although, not yet full blast... still have to fix my budget... too many payables this year

The Batman: Mr. Freeze variant

... the variant has a fully sculpted face ... and the lower shoulders are transparent...


Batman Movie: Bruce Wayne to Batman

... i was lucky enough to find this at a cheap price. the card's condition is excellent... this one completes my Batman Movie Bruce to Bats collection... the only problem is that i cannot muster enough courage to set it loose.

i was also lucky to find a Batman Returns Catwoman (Michelle Pfeifer)...

... since the card is also in great shape, i cant seem to muster enough guts to open it...

Batman The Animated Series Season 1- all the while i thought i have this in my cabinet. I was shocked to find out that the season 1 that i have is pirated...

Superman Deluxe Statue

... this statue was finally out at DK last Wednesday... i have been waiting for this one for a long time now.. .this is a great replacement for the full sized Jim Lee Superman statue.

... nice low number... it's 85 out of 1,500...


... Here's pix of the inside tray... I decided not to assemble this statue since i dont have a decent display cab yet. this is one of the most stressful statue that i have encountered. First, you have to deal with the mechanical parts (rotating Daily Planet Globe). Mine didnt work at first. We had to buy new batteries and adjust the springs on the battery slot in order for it to work... Aside from the on/off toggle, you will find another button at the side of the base... Then, you also have to deal with the stat connectors... it is very difficult to attach the main stat to the base... you have to clean the insides of the holes... make sure that there arent left over debris inside. Once the connectors go in, you have to gently push it until it goes all the way in... and once it is in, it would be very difficult to pull out... there is a big tendency to snap the lower part of the statue...

... and one last thing... dont use the batteries that come with the package... yup... that lame a$$, cheapo, made-in-china battery... those will not work...


..check out the sculpt... it's absolutely perfect...
