I came across this kit in the mall a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time I came across a non-bandai mech kit so I decided to try it out. It was only last night that I managed to put it together.
Note that all the pics here were taken using a phone cam.
This is basically the kit's box:

The sprues are labeled from A to H plus 1 for polycaps. Thought spures C and H are small, there's 2 sprues for B, D, E, F and G.
After a dozen spures and 5 hours, here's the basic body of the mech:
I find the level of detail quite amazing! I did not paint any part or piece. I just used a pair of Bandai cutters and cut and assembled away the whole night...and it still took me 5hours!
Come the morning, I assembled the hands and the weapons (the weapons took about 2 - 3 sprues).
Like what I said, I didn't paint any part -- I love the metalic colors it came in.
My recommendations when building this kit:
1) You'll need a good cutting tool. I used to assemble master-grade kits using a swiss knife but for this kit, you'll have parts smaller than some of the extra flash from the kit!
2) You'll need glue (mighty bond in my kit) since some of the transparent pcs need to be glued.
3.) You'll need either tweezors of very small and nimble fingers...I just used the latter. Like what I said -- there are very very small parts. I had to improvise using the Bandai cutters when attaching a couple of "bolts" to the waist -- bolts in a kit, imagine that!
4) You'll need lots of free time about the same amount of free time allocated for a MG Gundam kit.
This is one highly recommended kit! I'm glad a got 2 of them

Here's the update on the AC kits.
Presenting AC-002 Crest
Just like the AC-001 Mirage above, this thing took me like 5hours to complete! But just like the Mirage, this one is darn worth it too! The good thing about this kit compared to the first one is that there are no very very very small parts needing to be inserted or even glued on.
Phone cam pics:
Now, the great thing about AC kits which you're encouraged to do is mix-and-match them!
In the pic below, the core is from the Mirage kit and the limbs are from the Crest unit.

It's a good kit that's designed to be mixed and matched with other kits from the series. Additional weapon packs are also sold separately which you can mount on either one.
