Hi! I was cleaning our home last weekend and look what I dug -- Soundwave! It was my long lost Soundwave I got way back when I was in highschool. I checked several pictures on the net and somehow my Soundwave is different. It got the words "Cassette Man" on its chest. What gives? What version of Soundwave is this?   |

Well, if you're lucky, it could be a diaclone version  Look around the back of the body to see who made it and what year it was made (Takara 1974 1984?). |

Much of the vehicles from G1 TF were derived from Diaclone, a toyline that Takara manufactured way back. Given that this says Cassette man, I actually think that this is more likely part of the original Microman Microchange line.
