Transformers Movie Voyager Class Thundercracker Review

Well, way before the TF Movie toys were locally released, I already wanted a Thundercracker because of the color blue. Months before I can only marvel at this toy at seibertron.com and now I already have one due to the recent September TF Movie toys restock. By the way, Thundercracker isn't a movie character but was released as a toy in the TF Movie toy line.
Now on with the review!
Same packaging except for differences in some pictures.
ALTERNATE MODE: F-22 Raptor
Thundercracker is mainly a recolor of the Movie Voyager Class Starscream with the exception of his head, which is of a different sculpt. Another difference is the blue dominated color scheme which is very Thundercracker-y.
Here are some pictures with his missiles on the missile rack, and the missiles on the guns themselves. Like Starscream, the missile firing mechanism is sensitive so as to enable easy firing when you roll the plane on a surface, which spins the guns and fires the missiles.
His head is more of an angular sculpt which is really good. It kinda blends in with the rear part of the jet, and the color of the feet just behind his head conceals it more as opposed to Starscream where his head is of a different shade, and the round shape makes it easily seen. So in this case, Thundercracker is more of a "robot in disguise" than Starscream.
Another thing, the Decepticon logo is placed on the tail instead of the large wings.
Summary of alternate mode:
-Blue color scheme
-Head is much more concealed
I'd give the alternate mode a whopping 9.75 out of 10!!
TRANSFORMATION: Since it's the same mold as Voyager Starscream, the transformations is the same, with the Automorph feature used to form the wide chest, underneath the plane are the leg parts, the wings fold back, and the guns become the arms.
In the box's back picture of robot mode, the plane's rear wings are flipped up as opposed to the shoulder-pad fashion used for Starscream, however the transformation manual has the same instructions for Starscream.
ROBOT MODE
The robot mode is still having a lot of the blue color scheme, but the underneath of the jet which formed his legs are somewhat light gray or dirty whitish, it kinda looked like he's wearing shorts. Another spot where the dirty white is is on the arm. I think it'd be better if they sticked to the whole blue scheme.
Here's a shot of the head:
One thing I like about the robot mode is that the Decepticon logo, which are placed on the tail, is still visible in robot mode.
Summary of Robot mode:
-Color scheme gets more white
-Same mold for Starscream except for the head
-Decepticon logo is visible
I'd give the robot mode a high 9.75 out of 10 as well.
FINAL RATING: 9.75 out of 10 points. AWESOME!
Some comparison pics with Movie Voyager Starscream:
My thoughts: I think I made a good decision buying this toy because I just loove it even though it's got the same transformation sequence and the only differences are the colors and head. Now I can't wait to get the Voyager Class Starscream in G1 colors!
Thanks for reading!
