wow nice conversion on the ex-s, great details. . .btw is that conversion based on the sereis? i mean is it actually used on it or just for getting a meanest looking mecha? Actually this looks like a detail up Ex-S. I haven't seen the mag from model graphics in w/c it was first released. Maybe this is one of the best looking Ex-S, together w/ the G-System I saw before. Updates again for the Z2 I put some putty on the connection for the wings to make it not hollow. Then after a while, painted it. Detailed some parts... The looks so far... I like the Ex-S w/ the Zeta, very compatible. Almost done! The white armors nalang and details, tapos na. vic01

quick question lang sir vic. have you encountered any issues on chipping off paints? esp when you move any parts like inserting the shields/rifle sa hands? or some areas/corners on the legs when you move it? for me kasi, if i paint my kits, i think it's better not to pose or move it at all kasi they do tend to chip off. so i leave it in one pose. any insights on this? thanks. i just asked this kasi you transform it pa to wave rider and no mention of paint chip offs. so i got curious with it. again, thanks.

Oh my! It happens to me every now and then. You know the wings of the Zeta? The one w/ color red, and black (the tip wings). It was first all red in color. Then i painted it same w/ the anime one so i put black. After I finished painting it, I forgot to let it dry for at least an hour and forgot to coat it. It got a chip on the black part after i folded it or I say closed it to test. So I ripped off the paints and painted again. So the tip is, let it dry for a long time (but mine in just 2 hrs, I transform it, hehe) and dont forget to topcoat it! I use flat to make all colors flat even I use glossy paints. So far, no chipping happened while I transform it, I was so careful on the chest parts, and a lot of touching was made on that part, still ok because of the coat and of course clean hands. Watch your hands when building and painting, it always happens to me to hold the parts I painted and i didn't noticed that I just touched a thinner or alcohol. It will feel sticky and then your work will mess up. Im still worried though, coz the Zeta has a lot of moving parts, and the transformation will make the paints weak, and maybe chipped after a while.

ok. now, case dismissed. i'm still a normal person with chipped off paints. hehehe. i just got so envy with all the gundam galleries posted over the net. the same questions goes over my head every now and then... "how come they can pose it without chipping their paints off??? and how come i'm suffering from it even though i follow the usual procedures of painting kits???" my 2 cents.

They are really extreme modelers. I know for sure dumaan din sila jan and from experiences, they know what to do the next time around.

that's what i thought... too extreme for me. hehehehe. but you never know in the future... as of now, i'm studying the movements of my Astrays. so that i can avoid the mistakes i've made with my Freedom and RX-78 OYW. ;D hope the paints and coats doesn't chip off this time when i pose the kits. wish me luck!
