whoa! im so jealous of your garren & chalice! i wonder how you'll display the falcon though... Chalice and the Joker are my favorite designs. I already made a custom body for the Chalice to avoid buying this expensive SIC again. Will post pics in the kamen rider thread. I took a couple of pics 2 days ago after buying it, here is the hangar of my BMF for now... For real I don't have any place to put this behemoth... Except our living room and at my bed. vic01

awesome hauls bro... congrats! that Millennium Falcon is huge... hope to see shots of the Mk-III... ;D TIA... Thank you kingferic! I will post some pics of the Mk-III pretty soon after I open it. @winn: Haha! Yeah, you really need a nice space for it! Started my detailing w/ the BMF earlier today (Big Millennium Falcon from the net, not Big..M..F... ;D ) using oil paint and Turpenoid thinner. Before... Washing technique... Using a cloth, I put some thinner and just wipe it all the way. After More Sorry for blurry pics, I was working in my bed and just held my cam. What I finished so far... Easy and will make your MF like a model!!! Will continue later!!! Feeling tired. vic01

awesome updates vic! that big MF err BMF ;D is friggin huge! btw re the oil wash some noob questions ;D did you directly apply the oil paint (black) straight up (no mixture) into the BMF panel canals? then rubbed it with thinner afterwards? it seems to save a lot of time doing that technique! and how much is that BMF? its perfect for displays! TIA! ;D

TIA! ;D Thanks Lotur! For the oil washing, I just applied it directly to the ship, I mixed up the black and gray (the gray I have is not really gray when I applied). I mixed it up coz I want the black to be lighter. Then I pour a lot of the turpenoid thinner and mixed. Then used a brush, just brush it liberally to the panel lines while the paint flows to the creases/panels. Then just wipe it using a cloth and q-tips w/ a bit of thinner. Yeah, much faster to finish when using a cloth since this is huge. After I finish the wash, I'll AB some parts and topcoat it w/ matte clear for nice finish. vic01

About the BMF details, it already has those details, you just need to show the detail up by showing the panel lines. Hasbro did a great job on this ship. It even has some weathering effects made by them. Im just adding up to make it more realistic and detailed. Thank you! Goodluck on getting abroad soon! Lots of opportunities I say. vic01
