Thanks guys for checking the thread! sircastico: I'll take a pic comparison of height of the three, but approximately, GX-45 is just below the waist of Daimos and Voltes V, he's really small. @qb: Oh, that part just made of cut styrene sheets, glued together, "patong-patong", then applied tamiya cement on the sides, then sanded to make it smooth. Then I drilled a hole in the center to fit the balljoint part. Ok, I am almost done w/ the 3 SRWOG kits but last week, here are some pics I did... I am building/painting the 3 at the same time, saves time but makes you busy. Alteisen is almost on the go! I like how the red turned out, I didn't prime it, just straight paint on the blue plastic and the red turned in darkish color. 1/144 Koto Alteisen and 1/144 GFF Frame model RX-78-2 Gundam 3 more days, I can finish the Alteisen, R-1, and R-2 Powered. vic01

ah i see. so that's how you did it. i'm still not used to using styrene sheets. i find them difficult to cut especially the 1 and 2 mm ones. any tips? love the red hue on this. very mean looking alteisen. what kind of red did you use? ;D

Thanks amigo Pilapz! ;D @qb: I just cut it w/ big scissors, then cut w/ hobby knife for precisions. I think I used 3mm-5mm pla plates. The red is Tamiya Flat Red. vic01

Love the paint bro. I will be starting to paint my kits also, pre and buying stuffs for painting. I'm just wondering, you used Tamiya flat you say, but it doesn't look very flat or dull to me. Did you just use Tamiya from the bottle then thinned? I don't want my kits to be very flat or very glossy and I'm not planning to use topcoat also. I want it to be a little like satin if I'm correct? Thanks

Thanks First off, goodluck man! Better paint your kits, they will be a glory to your eyes and for the others. Yeah, i used flat red on Alteisen and the other parts that are red on R-1 and R-2. I never sprayed a paint w/o thinning. It won't be blown fine by my airbrushes if not thinned. It will just splatter bolus of paints and won't look good. So as for the Tamiya paints, i used 91% alcohol. For Model Master acrylics, I used its brand thinner and also for Mr. Color. If you want a satin finish, just mix your flat paint w/ clear gloss or Future floor wax. Flat+gloss 50:50, will give you satin finish. I might recommend topcoating your finished kits. This will not only protect your paints but also protect the model as a whole, just like handling, too much handling will make the paint brushed off, protect the decals you will use, protect from UVs and minor scratches, and from dust. You can easily clean the model from dust if topcoated. So almost done w/ the R-1 and R-2 Powered. 95% done. 98% done. Weissritter is on the process of painting now. After these 4 models, I will continue finishing the 1/144 Dygenguar. He's been yearning to be finished, haha! He's the one that actually started this all. My upcoming SOC Dygenguar needs his bigger brother. ;D So stay tuned! Thanks for viewing! vic01

Thanks everyone! Seems like I haven't show up my latest collection lately. Will try to look for time to reorganized my stuffs and make a video uploaded via youtube. As for the Daizengar custom, here's a pic I will do to my Zankantou sword... I cut the sword, almost at the tip, and put two metal sticks or plates to support the sword. Will then apply some pla-plates and putty. I can make it long w/ another 5"-6"! The original sword of the 1/144 kit Dygenguar is small and doesn't look right. So I'll make it more likable. I'll update as soon as i get out from my work in Convalescent hospital. vic01

Ok, for the real fight, I already started again the huge model of Dygenguar. I did lots of sanding, actually, not yet done on sanding. Then I fixed the circuit for the voice of Zengar. Then added some putty around the mid torso and chest for better proportions. After sanding the puttied parts, will finish the Zankantou swords, then painting time. vic01
