impressive work, vic! are those manipulators the b-club types? Yup! I bought the HDM-64 Freedom Gundam and the Wing Gundam Ver ka resin manipulators from HLJ. Very cool! But you have to glue or cement them. I have problem on painting them The primer were chipping off! Plus you have to sand them a little bit because the parts got tiny holes. I just put some clear coat first then sprayed german gray then clear coat. Then i'll try primer w/ matt white. Thanks! ;D  Some manipulator parts I didn't take out yet.  Check out the right fist. I sprayed the primer and let it dry for like 30 mins. Then I masked it to paint the gray parts, but after taking off the mask tape, the primer sticked to the tape! BTW, this is my first encounter of using resin. That is why im not done yet.  |

The hands came from B-Club, sub-company of Bandai. It is made of resin plastic. It costs me 2,200 yen about $19 in their currency conversion. They call it HDM manipulators. Thay have products for 1/144 HGs, and 1/100 HGs/MGs. They also have colored and just the color gray. Mine was gray. dude,
try washing the resin part with detergent/grease-stripper first to remove chemical residue before painting it.

hey sir vic. didn't know na may thread ka pala about Gundam Model Kits.  astig lahat nang collections mo ah. nalula tuloy ako. it made me think... Gundam lang ba ang laruan nito? halos puno na ang room mo ah.  parang gusto ko ulit magbuo nang kit... ask ko lang (to you & to other Gundam-builders): naglalagay ba kayo nang putty sa loob nang mga paa nang Gundams para bumigat. nagbuo ako dati nang MG RX-78 ver 1.5 (Amuro's First Gundam - my personal favorite ) at nung natapos parang ang gaan nya pag nagpo-pose. feeling ko mahanginan lang nang malakas ito, magagalaw yung pose. so naisip ko kung dapat bang maglagay ako nang putty sa loob nang paa para pampabigat nang konti? thanks! |

Hi, welcome here sa Gundam World, hehe! Better continue your gundam collecting hobby! More to come! Nwayz, I dont put some putty inside the feet of my gundams. Actually my only finished model kit is the MG Freedom Gundam. I saw some people put something inside the feet but I dont feel doing that. But if you want you can do that too! It will make your gundam stand still. ;D |
