Hey archie! cool Pepsi prime..Don't worry, the design is somewhat same with the g1 optimus..I love the truck mode. if ur going to display it, i vote for the truck mode..
question: do the hands need to be removed when u need to transform it to truck mode? Is it diecast?

nice review!
they could be cost-cutting. weapons are generally acceptable if they're painted in basic grayish colors - even with some parts meant to be colors.
drat. im contemplating on getting the hcmpro or the emsia nu... tsk.

ninja and v2 thanks well the G-Stand is good so far it has some extra connections for compatibility with other kits and it usually fits well. Here are the pics of the recent G-Stand that I have

It does look like the stands that come with HGGS 1/144 kits except for the connectors.... and it can also hold 1/100 figs right?

About the G-Stands Well when I tested the G-Stand out on a 1/100 kit it usually fits and it is stable enough to hold but it really depends on the area of the compatibility of the kit Well here are some of the handful shots of an MG 1/100 kits that has a G-Stand for review purposes ... I tested it out on a snap and straight build MG Guncannon the MG Guncannon has a small hole below the skirt so there are two connectors from G-Stand that was build for it and it perfectly fits well. The MG Guncannon is lightweight so there would be no problem on some balancing issue of the G-Stand Well again here I tested the G-Stand on one of my old snap and straight build MG Gouf Custom I have used the other connectors that usually connects on the middle of the underskirt of a kit (sowi don't know what its called on layman's terms term that I was describing) Here are some pictures of it .... Well hope this helps .... ;D for those that are interested in G-Stand the G-Stand was available in GT Stores and it cost around 480 bucks a stand ....

most of my hcmpros are "flying" thru kotobukiya's flying base.
considering the G-stand is directly based from it, im sure it can as well.

Great review Arch! And your review even came with an ad! ;D This looks like a great alternative to the "body-hugging" gunpla stands they sell at the mall.
