although msias officially have no scale, they're estimated to be at least 1/170.
emsias are said to be slightly larger however, under the 1/165-1/160 scale.

I've always been told that MSIA's were at the same scale as 1/144 kits which is why if one wanted to do mods on an MSIA e.g. MSIA Strike Freedom, you can get the wings off of the 1/144 version and reuse it for that. ;D It's a lot of work though.....

Nope, they're not. I don't even think GFF figs are exactly 1/144. I've got several Titan's RX-178's and the MSIA is smaller than the GFF which is smaller than the HGUC. Must be something intentional on Bandai's part to prevent us from mix-n-matching parts from each product line

Oic. So MSIA's are slightly bigger than HGUC's.... hmm... interesting. So if I get a 1/144 HG Strike noir and display it along with my MSIA's, it'd look kinda out of place and quite small, right?

Yup yup pero sometimes MSIA are bigger look at MSIA Sazabi and compare it with an HGUC. Also diba you have your MSIA Psycho Gundam compare it with an HGUC he is much bigger than any regular MSIA .... Well I might as well take a shot of an MSIA Sazabi and a 1/144 HGUC kit side by side picture for comparison by tomorrow ... to look and see who is much bigger ....
