I wanted to buy the strike-freedom lightning edition but still the head looks weird just like the HG 1/100 version of it. I'll wait for the MG edition na lang of the Strike-Freedom maybe they'll be able to fix the head problem. THe lights are very cool though!

does the assembly require any form of soldering ?

i would say not. my PG Wing Zero Custom has a few wirings but it didn't require soldering.

THe lights are very cool though! i fell in love with this Strike Freedom [Lightning Edition] when i saw it on display in SMmakati 2 weeks ago. ;D
but now it's gone.
i agree with you on the head. but not just the head. i find the feet very short. looks awkward. as i said before, about the Kits Grades, this Strike Freedom is just a blown up version of the HGGSD 1/144 and NG 1/100. if only they tweak a little bit the head & feet, guess, this will look great. if we wait for the MG version, we will lose the lighting feature. bummer. but still the wingspan of this RD 1/60 Strike Freedom looks superb. it's HUGE!!! ;D
or we could kit-bash the head of this RD 1/60 Strike Freedom...
