di naman mabilis uminit.pero the batteries last full strength till around an hour then magdi-dim na siya.better get rechargeables if you get the model.thanks for the comments!

I already thought about modding it to save the trouble of swapping batteries..
One thing to consider is that the lights that come with it are not LED and are like tiny bulbs. These do heat up unlike LED's that emmit almost no heat.
I tried powering a similar bulb from an old toy with a 9V battery (square one) unfortunately it burned the bulb up. So what I'm thinking is powering it using a 220V ac adapter that outputs 9v-6v and use resistors to lower it but the prob with that naman is that the resistors and AC adapter will heat up so you won't be able to leave it on for a sustained period time.
Any suggestions?

Use an adjustable Ac/Dc adaptor.. the one that goes all the way to 1v.
Mura sila mga 200php+ and ung iba may kasama na alligator clips para i clip-on mo nlang dun sa batterry contacts nung freedom.
ano ba ang voltage rating nyan?/ how many bateries does it use??

Yo Lonewolf, you've finished your Ligthning Edition yet? Anyway, it is not always a question about Voltage for these kind of bulbs, but rather the Ampere or the current that we inject to them that's causing the bulb to burn out. Usually, the AC/DC adaptor that can be bought on some small shops have ampere rating low enough to do the job, but if you're thinking of turning it on for maybe 24/7, I don't think you're bulbs are going to last. It might be better to change them all to LEDs, which has almost no heat generation (take care of our worry that it will melt the plastic) Try this site www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html it explains about how to rig up an LED circuit.

It uses 3 AA batteries ... 1.5V each ;D Ryuhao: Not finished yet eh just snapped em together. The big question is "To paint or not to paint?" The yellow parts...

Ha.ha. Same here. I've already finished building it, but can't make myself paint over it yet. Got too many backlogs, and ideas, I guess. ;D ;D ;D

3x1.5?? so its 4.5v..
go get a power supply, set it to 4volts (para medyo mabawasan ung paginit, pero mas lalabo..)

price range is about 200-300php..

i could make one ;D i make those stuff all the time and LED would be more durable and efficient than those bulbs. i can also make it go blink like a christmas tree ;D
