Took me a while to modify and add other details on the kit. These older kits is really a challenge.

For those who are interested, here are the initial stage of the modifications. Unfortunately, I had done massive mods, after these pics, which I failed to photog.







From the bottom pic, you can see the original kit, which looks like a bootleg to me before ;D

That's too early for me yet ;D

To do a MG format, you will need a skeletal frame, which means, I need to find an existing MG that can be used, but the V2 Gundam is smaller than the other Gundams with MG nowadays.

yes. because in the era of UC 0153, scaled down ms is already a trend (it started in the F90/F91 series, actually).

im pretty confident in their engineering and concept designs bandai can come out with a fully transformable V and V2 MG kits (with their respective variants, etc) but they would come up with a bottleneck - making mg internals in smaller scale to follow with the "scaled down ms trend".

if they decide to ignore that scaled down issue OR ditch the internal details gimmick though, it'll be no problem for them.

i gotta hand it to you ryuhao, the v2 looks really impressive. did you use this as decal/color design reference?!

Yes, this pic is hanging on my work table while I was working on my V2 ;D. But I was'nt able to do all of it, especially on the knee area

I'll try to finish the Assault armor array and probably modify this to Assault-Buster, or just built the V2 Assault. But that will be on the sidenote, since I want to work on my other kits right now. ;D
