around the 80s model kits are molded in one color and some are molded according to their general color. around the 90s bandai introduced the SYSTEM INJECTION line with the GUNDAM SENTINEL series - in which minor parts are already pre-colored (by making other entry points on the moulds for other colors) and some pre-painted.
it was somewhat a hit and miss kind of technique and it was later improved during the release of the first MG/HGUC .

@ V2 assault tnx for the add-up... its time for updates its not a new kit but I just happen to get my teeth on an old Deathscythe and Altron which is rare nowadays, to complete my 1/100 HG Gundam Wing series, these are all HG's it would'nt be fair if I add the Wing Zero MG, Enjoy!!! GUNDAM WING VARIATIONS Gundam Wing'sGundam Nataku's / Altron
Gundam Deathscythe's 1st mecha in the series "operation meteor" 2nd mecha in the series 3rd mecha for the OVA Group photo Sadly Bandai did not make any Heavy Arms and Sandrock 1/100 HG for the series, until the Endless Waltz... Thanks for looking hope you enjoy...

@ vayeate: Tnx much, I guess your a Gundam Wing fan too your codename is Vayeate anyway....
@ V2 Assault: Winger ha, I can say this is my fav coz this hooks me up to collecting Gundams, can't deny it, like you, your more V Gundam fan am I right??? I just miss the panel line to death, unlike the new NG kits after 2 hrs I'm done with the assemble, paint, decals, panel line... d**n that's so easy, But I'm impress with the mobility and the plastic Bandai use with NG kits...

hey nice! got the complete 1/100 also and all painted! great job! we got the same reason why i'm into gundam, my GF gave me a gift, my very first gundam V2 assault, but during that time i dont know anything about gundam aside from a robot and your suppose to paint it like a tank and the Gundam Wing airing at one of the local channel... hmmm that was differnt to my robot... then research... ask around.... (hey didnt i suppose to put this into my thread?? hehehe) any way and the rest is history. BTW i'm also thinking of buying tallgeese 3 to make 1 and 2, also the H-Arms of endless waltz and re-paint it with the original color scheme.

@ nokin: That's great you also have the entire collection post nman, I was into it when it first aired, the feeling is different from the time I watch it, I was not interested to watch Gundam Seed until they release the Freedom, o boy it looks like a combination of Gundam Wing and Gundam Double X, You'll gonna paint the Heavy Arms to its original color that gonna be awesome, I once saw a resin kit of Heavy Arms and Sandrock 1/100 (both in its original type) but the price was to high huhuhu...
@ quattro bajeena: Tnx bro, I just painted some parts that are suppose to be gold, I did not use any top coat, what you see is the original gold plated...

@ V2 Assault: Sadly Bandai would not or perhaps in the near future will release an V Gundam MG kit, I don't know what Tomino is thinking,I knew that V Gundam was the first one that uses different gear or modes like the Gundam Striker System....

ah actually there's a chance it could churn out an MG V because they've already churned out the crossbone units - in which is a scaled down MS like the V units are.
whats more is that its core fighter has relative similarities to the ones in V - so even if the chances are THAT slim, its still a chance.

Maybe it will come V2 cause they already made the F91... Which I think is a scaled down MS too close to the V Gundam times...
