Ola amigos! ;D Pilapoy reporting for another installment of 'My 2 Cents'! My team leader just came back from Japan and she got me this shirt! A closer look at the tag. Up first for my review... RD Stark JeganOut of the box. Stand alone. With the Hyper Bazooka. Beam Saber! Dual 30mm machine guns. RGM-89S Stark Jegan Mecha Profile:An advanced version of the Jegan developed by the Earth Federation in U.C. 0093. It's used as an anti-ship assault type mobile suit. It has additional armour, boosters and weapons such as missile pods mounted on its shoulders, a hyper bazooka, the same type of beam rifle as used by the Jegan, optional tactical nuclear warheads and dual 30mm machine guns. * source from Wikipedia2 cents:In the first 7 minutes of the Unicorn OVA, you'll see this suit in action against the colossal Kshatriya. During that short battle, I was just simply amazed by the look of this suit and I got more excited when Bandai announced the release of an RD Stark Jegan. I was supposed to get this from a preorder...but due to unknown reasons the preorder didn't push through...hence my delay in acquiring this fig. Anyways, I was pretty excited when I was taking this fig out of the box until...a closer look reveals the sloppy details. ugh. Mine had quality check issues that I didn't notice from 'outside' the box. Despite that minor 'flaw', I still had fun with the fig. The mold is great, weapons and accessories are just right, and of course the poseability was superb! Overall, its a great fig but just look out for the quality check issues. I'd recommend this fig to an Earth Federation fan. Lastly... RD Bonta-Kun (Combat Type)Out of the box. Stand alone. Optional sticker that could be applied. Fu Mo Fu Mo Fu Mo! (Uruz 7 reporting for duty!) ;D Sousuke's signature shotgun. Bad pwet MP5. FUMO! FUMO! FU! MO! (Giving orders over the Walkie Talkie) ;D Sniper! Here's a camparison shot with the first RD Bonta-Kun. FU! MO! FUMO! FUMOFFU! ;D Mecha Profile:Bonta-kun resembles a human-sized, yellow teddy-bear. It is a personal armor suit, designed by Sousuke Sagara for the purpose of providing aid in tactical situations. Even though only capable of moving with human running speed and limited by its size, the suit is essentially a miniature Arm Slave. However, due to the suit's main computer's malfunction, all syllables uttered by the pilot are changed to either Fu, Mo, Ffu, or Ru. The suit's Operating System immediately crashes if the pilot tries to deactivate the voice changer. For that reason, Chidori Kaname has to translate what Sousuke wants to say using a headset radio, which is a frequent cause of humor in the Fumoffu series. * source from Wikipedia2 cents:You just gotta love Bonta-Kun! ;D Who wouldn't love the idea of a cute teddy bear gone Rambo?! ;D I am obviously a big fan of the Full Metal Panic series and I was uber excited when this was available locally. It still has the similar features of the first RD Bonta-Kun but the weapons are totally different this time around. I guess the 'highlight' of this version is the 'crawl' position. Bonta-Kun can now do the 'sniper' pose thanks to that new gimmick. Overall, its a very cute and fun fig. Teddy bear + Rambo = Bonta-Kun. 10 shades of awesomeness. That's it for now amigos! Thanks for looking! Cheers!

Ola amigos! Pilapoy reporting here! ;D Last Wednesday I was on vacation leave and I decided to hunt for RD Cherudim Saga. With luck not on my side that day, I settled for these 2 figures instead! RD Geara ZuluOut of the box. Stand alone Equipped with the Beam Machine Gun. It has a Pistol attached at the end of the Beam Machine Gun! Cool! ;D Rocket Launcher! Beam Axe! Fire in the hole! ;D AMS-129 Geara ZuluMecha Profile:A Neo Zeon mass-production mobile suit. It is the successor to the AMS-119 Geara Doga. Equipped with beam machine gun (with grenade launcher), hand grenade, rocket launcher, beam axe and shield. *source from Wikipedia2 cents:This is officially my first 'mono-eyed Mobile Suit' purchase ever! ;D Now this is simply an awesome bad pwet mother effer suit! You just gotta give credit to Katoki's design on this updated Zaku. I like how the 'sleeves' and the 'helmet' give it a 'Nazi' look. By the way...boo Nazis! ;D The weapons are just so awesome...especially its main arsenal, the Beam Machine Gun. Overall, its a great fig and worthy every centavo I spent on it. I am so looking forward to more RD Zeon related figs. SIEG ZEON! ;D up next... RD Reborns Gundam/Reborns CannonOut of the box. This fig comes with a peg which is compatible with the Stage Act stand. Reborns Cannon - Stand alone. Beware of its four Beam Cannons! The Egner Whip. Fangs deployed! CB-0000G/C Reborns CannonReborns Gundam - Stand alone. The Beam Cannons can also be converted to Fangs! BEAM SABER!!! Ala Gundam Vs Gundam Next Plus pose! RIVALS!!! CB-0000G/C Reborns GundamMecha Profile:The Reborns Gundam is a Gundam-type mobile suit introduced in the series finale. Equipped with a pseudo-Twin Drive System located on its elbows, along with a Trans-AM System, the Reborns Gundam can assume the mode of Reborns Cannon which is armed with four powerful beam cannons on its torso, and the three-fingered hands can double as a electrocuting grappler called the Egner Whip, similar to those installed on the Empruss and Regnant. The mobile suit's main weapons are its GN-Buster Launcher, a powerful beam rifle that is used by both modes, and a shield which houses four small GN-Fin Fangs. Additionally, this unit is equipped with four identical Fangs on the back skirt and the four beam cannons on the front of the Reborns Cannon double as GN-Large Fin Fangs. *source from Wikipedia2 cents:This is truly one of my favorite Mobile Suit designs to date. The Gundam 00 franchise is notorious for its radical designs and the Reborns Gundam is one of them. I remember watching the debut of this Mobile Suit in the series, I thought to myself "Oh cool...the big baddie is a Guncannon inspired suit. This'll be interesting." Then of course, it showed its true form...it transformed into a Gundam!!! F*ck yeah!!! ;D As for the figure itself...huwaw! I'm surprised that they were to pull off the transformation gimmick with ease! I think this RD just skyrocketed to one of my top 10 RD favorites to date. ;D Overall, I highly uber super duper recommend this figure. Its simply 10 shades of bad pwetness! ;D That's it for now amigos! Thanks for looking! Cheers! ;D

Ola amigos! I just want to share my 2 cents on my August 30 haul. RD Crossbone Gundam X-3Out of the box. Stand alone. Game Face on! Grrrr! X-3 ready to sortie. The Buster Gun. The Beam Zanber. The Zanbuster (combination of the Buster Gun and Beam Zanber). The Heat Daggers. The Beam Sabers! (every Gundam has gotta have one. ) X-3's main arsenal, the Muramasa Blaster. Bonus Shot: The Crossbone Vanguard From left to right: X-2, X-1, and X-3. XM-X2 Crossbone Gundam X-3Mecha Profile:The XM-X3 Crossbone Gundam X-3, however, is drastically different from the other two. Instead of mounting beam shields, it is equipped with two I-field generators on each arm, which completely disperse beam attacks, sometimes even those from VSBRs and battleship-grade beam cannons (which beam shields cannot deflect). However, even after being used for so many years, I-fields still suffer the problem of overheating. As a result, each generator can only operate for 105 seconds before needing to cool off for another 120 seconds; alternating between the two I-field generators still leaves the Gundam defenseless for about 15 seconds. The X-3's main weapon is replaced with the "Muramasa Blaster", a large sword mounting a beam cannon at its tip and a set of 14 beam sabers on its side (7 per side). Effectively, this is the most powerful mobile suit during the UC 0130s, and is piloted by 13 year-old Tobia Arronax, a mere amateur during the initial Jupiter Empire conflict. * source from Wikipedia2 cents:It was about a year ago when Bandai released the RD Crossbone Gundam X-1. I loved the fig and mold but had no idea what was the story behind it. One year later, I finally read the manga and my love for the Crossbone Vanguard just grew stronger. Hahaha! ;D The X-3 suddenly had to be a MUST-HAVE in my collection. Figure-wise, its simply a remold of the X-1 Gundam with modifications here and there. Great articulation and details as always. Accessory-wise, it contains the same weapons from the previous Crossbone Gundams. My only gripe is Bandai didn't include the signature cloak. Despite that minor setback, the X-3 is still an awesome fig. I prefer this color scheme than its predecessors. Overall, as I've mentioned it earlier...its a MUST-HAVE for any Gundam fan. By the way, I recommend you amigos read the Crossbone manga. Great story. Probably one of my top 3 fave UC story to date. That's it for now amigos! Thanks for looking! Cheers!

Ola amigos! Pilapoy reporting here! I'd just like to share my 2 cents on my haul last week... RD Strike FreedomOut of the box. Stand alone. Action shots. Strike Freedom's signature poses. Full Burst Mode! Adding the 'limited' Dragoon attachment gimmicks were just too big to take this shot with my Space Decoback. I had to take this shot with my old backdrop. Mecha Profile:During the First Earth/ZAFT War in C.E. 71, ZAFT's ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam comes to be known as one of the most powerful mobile suits ever created. In the last stages of the war, ZAFT creates a successor unit, the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam. However, the Strike Freedom is stolen before its completion by Terminal, a secret organization associated with followers of Lacus Clyne. Although ZAFT's original plan was to produce multiple units with overwhelming firepower, the stolen unit is instead refined for use by the Freedom Gundam's former pilot, Kira Yamato. The Strike Freedom is a major improvement over the original Freedom Gundam in various respects. The wings feature new high output thrusters developed from the "Voiture Lumiere" propulsion system used by the GSX-401FW Stargazer. A similar propulsion system is used by ZAFT's ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam. The Strike Freedom is powered by the hyper deuterion nuclear reactor technology developed by ZAFT. This new design stores power in deuterion form, providing a continuous deuterion charge and, in theory, an endless power supply. However, it is possible for the suit's power to be expended before the reactor can replenish it. The Strike Freedom retains a set of hip-mounted rail cannons, although the cannons can swivel behind the main body and swap places with a pair of hip-mounted, combinable beam rifles (similar to the old GAT-X103 Buster Gundam). The Strike Freedom is also armed with a chest beam cannon, head-mounted vulcan guns and a pair of beam sabers. The biggest change in armaments, however, is in the Strike Freedom's wings. Where the original Freedom Gundam carried a pair of plasma beam cannons, the Strike Freedom features eight DRAGOON (Disconnected Rapid Armament Group Overlook Operation Network) units. The DRAGOON units housed in the wings utilize an improved quantum communications system, allowing normal pilots without expanded spatial awareness to use them. Also, like the original Freedom Gundam, the Strike Freedom is capable of docking with the METEOR mobile weapons platform. *source from MAHQ2 cents:I believe this Gundam needs no introduction. I think this is one of the most iconic Gundams created this past decade. Seeing it in the RD format is purely geekgasm. ;D My impression of this RD is a mini-MG version of the Strike Freedom. Articulation and gimmicks are similar with the MG, so yeah its an impressive figure. Even though I was impressed with the fig, its still has its flaws. Doing the 'stand alone' shot was a challenge because the figure is back-heavy. The choices for the color seem kinda off to me, especially on the beam rifles. If you look at the anime colors, the rifles are colored black or dark bluish. While in the RD it's metallic blue. I also wish that the joints were gold too, at least it would be consistent with the gold parts in the abdomen area. Overall its a great fig but not top 10 material in my favorite RD's of all time. ;D If you want a mini-MG or the most playable Strike Freedom figure to date, I'd recommend this fig. That's it for now amigos. Thanks for looking. Cheers!

@ V2: thanks for looking. i was surprised that the stage act3 was able to support the Strike Freedom, especially during the Full Burst Mode shots. but still...i might get the newer stage acts meant specifically for mecha figs, they look more stable.

yeah nice review... although, i've always liked the freedom more than the SF. i'm trying my best to resist this and just wait for a GFFN-remake so it will be in scale w/ my other (very few) cosmic region MSs... plus i don't really get to handle any of my toys these days... i do like the burst mode... btw, what do you mean by "limited" dragoon attachments? aren't they part of the RD SF package? (you never know these days when these toy companies will scr3w you over ) looking for new stage act stands? --> 50% off - www.1999.co.jp/eng/10114338 saw these a couple of days ago. there are a few other nice "mecha bargain" deals there... wish local shops would do 50-70% clearance sales once in a while .

@ m0n5t3r: same here actually...i kinda liked Freedom more. well...amongst all of Kira's unit i still prefer the old fashioned Strike Gundam. the limited dragoon attachments are limited to the initial batch of the RD SF. hence the gold strip at the box. so if ever a reissue comes out, no more dragoon attachment thingamajig. yep, those are the stands i'm looking for...specifically the clear color. hehe. ;D

Ola amigos! Pilapoy reporting here! Last Sunday I went toy hunting with a couple of our fellow PG members here. I was able to score some awesome figs and I immediately made a review on one of them. Before I get into that, I got this Decoback: Battlefield. I'll use it for my photoshoot that have a 'grounded' setting. Here's the 'damo' side according to amigo j.sonic. ;D Here's the 'burning city' on the other side. I'll use this side first for my next toy review. Now unto my toy review. The first blood purchase of the day. My first Figma purchase ever... Figma Black Rock ShooterOut of the box. The free DVD that came with the figure. Black Rock Shooter OVA DVD Stand alone. I... am... ...Black Rock Shooter. Action shots. Black Rock Shooter with the katana. Looking for Yomi/Dead Master. Black Rock Shooter armed with the Rock Cannon. Some 'ala model' poses. Black Rock ShooterCharacter Profile:Black Rock Shooter, for which the OVA and song are named for, is a main character in the "Other World". She merges with Mato to help her search for her friend, Yomi, when she became Dead Master and disappeared. Her most notable physical features are her two pigtails, one long and one short; two scars on her torso. The scar below her left breast was given to her by Golden Rock Saw, as shown in the beginning of the OVA. The scar above her right hip was given to her by Dead Master in an earlier battle. Her most distinctive physical feature, however, is her left eye which burns with a bright blue flame. She wears a pair of knee high black boots, a black bikini top, black short shorts with a black belt, and a black hooded jacket with a white star on the back. She carries around two weapons; her Rock Cannon and her crooked Katana. Her Cannon has two main battle modes. Cannon mode and Bladed mode. It's cannon mode has three firing rates. First is rapid fire mode which it can fire up to 20 small rock shells a second. Second is single shot mode which it can fire larger rock shells one at a time. The third is charge mode. Not shown in the OVA her cannon can extend out another foot, releasing three locking bars that fully reveals its charging rotor. It can charge up to fire a large beam blast. It's other battle mode can turn the cannon into a large bladed weapon which Black Rock Shooter can use in close quarters combat. She uses this mode to destroy Dead Mater's Dead Skulls. In cannon mode it can also be used as a large club. Her katana that she uses against Golden Rock Saw is black and white and is crooked at its hilt. 2 cents:Huwaw! As in huwaw! This Figma just made me a convert and a believer of the Figma line! haha! ;D I was drawn into this character due to its character design. So when I read that there was a Figma coming out, I knew this would be my first Figma purchase. First impression...ahluvit! ;D I'm greatly impressed with the sculpt, poseability, the very sturdy stands and of course the accessories. ;D Before I purchase a figure, I usually do research on the fig first or watch its anime. In this case, I had no idea about the character but thank goodness it came with a free DVD. Thank goodness the story was good. ;D Overall, I truly enjoyed this Figma and I'm sure this won't be my last purchase from this line. That's it for now amigos! Thanks for looking and stay tuned for more of my toy reviews coming this week. Cheers! ;D

Ola amigos! ;D Here's another installment of my 2 cents on one of my recent purchases. RD Tamashii Web Exclusive Wing Effects for the RD Strike FreedomSignature brown box. The box within. Out of the box. The wing effects. The Stage Act 5 stand. The wing effects attached to the RD Strike Freedom. Full Burst Mode! Signature pose. The trouble of having the wings displayed with the RD Strike Freedom = SPACE CONSUMING! haha! ;D 2 cents:I gotta admit these wings truly pimped up my RD Strike Freedom...BIG TIME! ;D It definitely makes the fig stand out and makes it an instant centerpiece. I was just simply awestruck once I finished attaching all the effects together. I guess thats it. I havent got much else to say about this add-on. hahaha! ;D That's it for now amigos! Thanks for looking! Cheers!
