nice WIP pics bro! uh, I guess nothing should happen to the kit except it gets topcoated. Topcoat is supposed to protect the kit from getting chipped, marked, etc so it'd be a good way to protect the coated parts of the kit. btw, wher'd you buy your panel line eraser? been looking for one. hehe.

remarkable wip pre! this lancelot is a stand out! if you put clear topcoat the shine will be retained completely, i glosscoated an old HG Chrome WZC kit and it had great results (extra shine on the coated parts too ;D) For flatcoat, expect matt to blend in with the coated parts and dull the shine, but not to a significant extent that the metallics are completely subdued. I applied flatcoat to the chrome parts of my destiny and it had a minimal effect, but im still uncertain of the effect on other metallic colors so you can experiment out a bit ;D

great WIP, bro. it's refreshing to see a different kit once in awhile.
as for your topcoat concerns, better try it first on the excess coated sprues to see the effects. or if you want, you can use rubbing compound afterwards, so it will have an extra shine.

PilapZthanks amigo! ;d haha.. @qbthanks bro! ;d i don't have problemos on the white paint, the headache is the panel lining portion, notice that in every panel line of white painted kits, i always end up with "makapal" ones, i am still in the process of learning on how to panel thinner lines when paint is applied! ;d @no3ljmthanks bro! lower half of the Lancelot is coming right up.. hehe.. ;d @rainierothankks bro! haha.. hope i won't disappoint you on my crappy results.. haha.. ;d sepoythanks bro! haha.. you shure are a Geass Addict ah, esp. on the Knights.. haha.. whose your favorite Knight btw? or is it Schneizer? hahaha.. ;d anyways, i used industrial paint, esp. RJ and Bosny paints.. i dunno how to hand paint kasi e, but it's really tiring painting coz i have to come and go since i don't have a steady place to spray.. hahaha.. ;d
