Nicely done. I'm building my own Hazel too, but it's nothing compared to how great-looking your Hazel is. Thanks bro. I am humbled by your remarks. Good luck on your build bro. I am sure it will be one fine mecha too with all your special touches on it. Lookin forward on seeing your finished mecha. Jnthn is workin on his Hazel too, probably almost finished as he is already paintin it..

Thanks bro. Honestly I didn't do any masking, all were hand painted, I primed the kit first with Mr. Clear (semi-gloss). I used a fine and pointed artists paintbrush for the hinges on the chest and knees and then panel line with gundam marker; for all other I used a 3mm flat soft artist paint brush. Paints used... Fortunately I had a paint marker set for Zeta colors (they were chisel pointed tips), extracted the paint from the markers and used paint brush to apply on the kit. The thrusters on the back skirt was the trikiest for me. Good luck on your build bro. Looking forward to it. JQ is building one too! nice! did you top-coat it? yeah i'm almost there, just working on the shields now...i tried masking the yellow/orange parts on the shields but they didn't come out right so i have to re-airbrush again...i might just paint-brush them....thanks, man!

Yup, applied top coat, flat 2 coats. I just love the effect of flat coat on white/semi-white surface.

Update 1/144 HGUC MSV-006 ZETA GUNDAM 06-23-2008At last I was able to finish this mecha! This is the first time that I have attempted to handpaint an entire kit, so many lesson learnt as usual, blunders abound but nevertheless I was able to push through before I ran out of patience. he.he.he.Here is Zeta in plain snap built.Mecha ModeWave Rider ModeAfter seeing manny's goldframe Impulse, I really got inspired to attempt gold framing my HGUC Zeta... and pushed the idea a bit further by attempting to do a metallic finish in gloss and matte. I have no idea of what would it look like but I am quite sure of what to achieve. Please bear with me guys, I still have to get the hang of handpainting kits... Proud to introduce my version of HGUC MSZ-006 ZETA GUNDAM "Portraitures"- Up Front and Full Back Front Right Side and Front Left Side Back Right Side and Back Left Side Side ProfileNow we go to the Wave Rider Mode... When I finished painting the kit and have it assembled in Mecha Mode, I was really hesitant to do a Wave Rider mode, my clumsy hands might ruin the paint while disassembling/assembling. But then I also really want to see how it looked in Wave Rider Mode.... so I carefully disassemble/assemble the kit and luckily I got away with it successfully... That will be the first and last time , I'll probably buy a new kit and have it assembled permanently in Wave Rider Mode.I hafta admit, this Wave Rider mode is gorgeous (ships are usually names after woman, I wonder what would be the nickname of this ship?)Another side profileA view on topSome action shots with the Beam Rifle.Very limited as I don't have an action stand, cant pose in mid-air.Profile again up-closeSince I seldom use masking parts prior to painting especially little details, after what happened on the shoulders (yellow thingy), I guess I will have to patiently mask next time.Holding the enormous Hyper Mega Launcher...Side view..Up-close..Zeta admiring his enourmous gun "What a fine weapon..."Parting profile shot. And that is all of me....*bow.Thanks for lookin!

The entire kit was hand-painted?!? Whoa! Excellent work on your Zeta, sir Prym! It came out beautiful! Thanks bro, the actual plan was only the internals to make it ala goldframe. Whoa great pics there sir, and also nice touch of gold in some sections of your zeta! ;D Thanks bro. Experimented of how would it look to achieve ala "goldframe" on a HGUC kit. nice shots!!!! as usual!! admire your photography skills!!! Thanks! This is the beauty of digital technology, we can opt to shoot at much pictures as the memory card can hold and just pick-out the ones we like the best. Unlike 15 years ago, hehehe it would cost much on a film camera.
