Intro:
Zoids 2 was my first line of zoids. I used to have my parents buy them when I was a kid. My first Zoid 2 is Aquazoid (Aquadon), and then others such as Hellrunner, Slither (Molga), Tarantulon, Spinefin (Dimetrodon), Red Horn (Rhimos) can. But somehow the most precious of all of these was the Ultrasaurus, which my dad gave me after winning a quiz bee in school (I'm the top student of the class that time, so it's not that hard, since I win the quiz bee every year).
Unfortunately since they were seen as toys, when I stopped playing them, they were sent to the province where we had this big stockroom of things we don't need, so most of my Zoids 2 zoids are broken apart, and others seem impossible to be built again. But then a few months ago, I salvaged some of the other parts, and now I noticed that the Ultrasaurus seems to be having a lot of parts still left, so I returned today and tried to dig up 2 little boxes fill with scrap zoid parts, and even my old Power Rangers robots.
And so my Ultrasaurus is back, sadly, not in one piece, but still I'm hoping to put in whatever parts he has left, just to be able to be a "symbol" of Zoids 2, which were my first zoids ever.
I tried building him in our house in the province, and sadly many major and minor parts are missing, here's a list of the missing parts that I could remember:
Bigger parts:
Battery cover for the lights (the one on the tail)
One leg part (the front right leg part which is kept between the two halves of the lower leg, and the foot)
The right gun with the canopy.
Smaller/Minor parts:
Several guns, like those in the sides of the hangar.
The Radar dishes in the neck (I remembered seeing them broken way way back)
ALL of the PILOTS (retired???)
The three pilot mini vehicles (head, chest, hangar)
Several rubber caps (so far I was only able to find enough to support all missing parts)
And for some pics:
Dang, finally out of the dusty box!
Limbs and things
The body
All I could find, which is sadly insufficient
The missing limb
Cant figure out the assembly of guns, and see how he falls without the other leg.
Though I'm not giving up, even if he stands like that, I'll probably make him stand like the Brachiosaurus skeleton in Jurassic Park, as long as he can be the "symbol" of the long lost collection of mine that was Zoids 2.
I'm a clean him up first, but it might take long since I'm allergic to dust mites, and he's got THICK dust!
