would this be also applicable to bootleg gashas and keychains? also about the alcohol, do you mean to use the ones that are used for personal care or disinffectant(rubbing alcohol)?

also i would like to ask about the stuffs to be used for small detailed items like gashas, do they have brushes with different sizes or points, plus any advices and techniques because i have lots of bootleg gashas and key chains, it would be waste if i would only let get unpolished and discarded, besides i love my stuff:) hehehehehehehe!!!

I usually use and apply a thin coat of Mr. Color - Clear Coat or Top Coat on my finished projects..... but sometimes i don't apply them....

ok. actually i think the owner of lils hobby shop recommended it to me.
anyway, the language in the back is foreign, i couldn't read what am i supposed to do and that stuff. i researched it on the net and found out that we shouldn't use this on water-based paints like tamiya acrylic so i don't know what to do...anyone? thanks

If you used water based paint, your recommended top coat would be "Mr.Hobby Topcoat" it's blue colored spray can about half as tall as the Mr.Super Clear cans. It's water based as well but it doesn't have UV protection tho.

Over the water based acrylic paint? no, it'll ruin it because it's solvent (lacquer) based

yes you can still use the super clear but as seele said, the mr. topcoat is much safer to acrylic surfaces. but there is an answer. make sure your acrylic base coat has been cured(dried) for at least a week, to be safe. 3 days minimum. than when you spray your Mr.Super clear, do it in multiple mist coats. waiting about a minute or two in between coats.do 4-6 thin coats as to one or two thick coats.so that the super clear doesn't attack your acrylic base ruining your paint job in the process. my advice, always go for the safer route. it'll save you heartache in the end. take seele's advice and but the mr.topcaot
