1. you can put some small amount of putty on the unwanted groove 'panel' lines, then sand it away.
2. not sure how many hours. i tried soaking a small part of my Astray before in Zonrox, and it took a month to remove it. not sure though about the other modellers experience.

Break fluid works fast in removing paint, you have to check every hour bec too much will make plastic brittle. You can also reuse fluid, don't throw it away after single use.

I'll try puttying my kit l8r, haven't tried that technique yet since this is my first time to paint my kit i've already made a mistake in painting, using lacquer over acrylic arhhhg hope this time, the outcome will be good. thanks again. SEELE01: thanks sir. I'll also try that break fluid.. what specific break fluid will I use?? can it remove lacquer-based paint?? thanks ;D

Usually break fluids are risky, can damage the plastics. I have some lacquer paints, and I just use Iso 91% alcohol, it strips the paint, but with the help of a little brushing and sanding though. Get Mr. Color Topcoat or Mr. Super Clear Topcoat. Very good! vic01

@ sir vic01: actually i've already tried the break fluid and "wala namang damage" in just 10 minutes the paint was stripped. hehe galing! nyways, thanks for your advice. maybe i'll try it in the future loved your dark zeta by the way! superb painting, details etc..
Are those topcoats available in local hardware shops or hobby shops lang siya and also acrylic-based siya?? cause my base coats are acrylic and lacquer. baka madamage dw.. thanks again

kingaL Mr.Color Topcoats and Mr.Super Clear Topcoats spraycans can only be found at hobby stores such as Lil's Futaba and STC. price range for these per cans are P400-500. and they're Lacquer based.
if you're on a budget, you can use 'Clear Coats' Spraycans from local hobby stores. such brands are RJ, Nikko, Pylox, etc. price are P150.

finally, found an acrylic based topcoat question regarding acrylic paints in bottles that can be bought in hobby shops. Can I use it directly from the bottle? or do I need to add up some thinner or something to the paint? thanks

hello po... just want to ask po coz im new to building gunpla...
1)is the quality of spray paint almost the same as an airbrushed one??
2)wat typ of putty do modelers use in kitbashing?, the color yellow one?? the one commonly used if you want to extend a part of the model like the sholder part or the tips of the legs??
im sory if my questions are a bit demanding but i jzt dnt want to ruin thekit im builind eh... thnx po.. ;D
