hayabusa wat kind of toys co u collect? Mostly mga gundams & zoids, minsan mga gashas & figures kung walang bagong kits na lumabas. Question nga pala sa mga gumagamit ng airbrush, how long do you usually wait for an acrylic paint to dry before applying the next coat? Hindi ko kasi gamay yung properties ng acrylic since puro enamel lang ang ginagamit ko up to now.

actually i tried using tech pens before. the finest one i got was 0.01, but the problem is the ink wont stick on plastic. so i think you better look for a fine FELT tip pen, this is similar to the gundam tech pen but much finer... if there is such a thing? hmm hanap nga ako mamaya

Hmm.. I use the Gundam fine tip i bought at Gt Makati. Its still too thick though. Its a 0.04 tipped marker. If you plan to use it, I can give you some tips! ;D Even if you do not want to paint you kit, you can still use this tip. First, you can just mark the lines you want to detail. Just like making a line in paper. Dont worry, the panel lines are deep enough so you wont need a guide. There are however, some cases that you have to be careful coz there are shallow panel lines. Once you finished marking it, leave it for 5 mins then you can clean the excess with a soft cloth dabbed with alcohol! ;D Very effective for me! I found great results doing it to my MG Freedom!

Do not worry, my friend! ;D Panel lines are visible to the naked eye. You can tell by just looking at a part. Besides, you have the manual to refer to. You can use that as a reference as well as the box art. Plus, if you have difficulty, you have US!

Daycot: have you tried using plastic erasers? it gives you more control in erasing those excess markers off. Chaoz: there isn't a specific way of knowing which part needs panel lining or not. but here's the run down. the reason why we do "panel lines" is to give some shadowing effect to the kit, or it can also be translated into giving definition, emphasis, or highlight. just take a look at your sig, take a very good look at the astray and tallgeese heads. those black parts that you see there were panel lined. if when you get your astray and tallgeese you'll see that its all white. oh and when you do get your tallgeese III make sure that you purchase a white paint (i'd prefer enamel), you'll be needing it. trust me ;D and get a blue gundam marker or paint as well. p.s. when did i ever whup anyone? SPAM as much as you want i'd say hehehe ;D
