Hi! I just watched The Ghost Rider yesterday with my wife and all I can say is that I'm a bit disappointed about this movie. Its like it was just made for the sake of having a Ghost Rider movie. Nick Cage did a good job as Ghost Rider/Johnny Blaze but the storyline is so weak and the action is very limited. The scene where is made a contract with the devil is really akward and almost not really believable in a way. Ghost Rider CGI transformation is really cool and I really wish they had more action. But anyway, OK to watch but it does not have that "it" feeling to it. I give it 2 out of 5 stars.

yap really weird. I guess he has substituted jelly beans for alcohol because of what happened to his father. Cancer right? The only thing worth watching is his 1st transformation to Ghost Rider, Eva Mendez and that Karate monkey which is really funny. Other than that its a complete bore.......ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz.

i agree with the general sentiment of the members here. in my humble opinion, and as someone who has read his fair share of ghost rider comics, the movie sucks. what a waste of material this was! with the richness of the mythology surrounding the ghost rider character, they could've done something like batman begins (which was a fantastic movie in my opinion). the only thing that recommends thsi movie is the cg-rendition of ghost rider in some scenes (some of them mentioned by the other members).

The funny thing is even though with bad reviews from critics people still wants to see it. i think it made like $35 M in two days. And if you go to the forums like TNI most of them liked it. I just hope the Iron Man movie will be better than GR. And i read GR comics too when I was in HS esp the Midnight sons storyline.

well, to each his own i guess.
one suprisingly wonderful film i also saw during the weekend was "music and lyrics". it actually helped me get over my frustration over the ghost rider movie.
imagine hugh grant in an 80s mtv, looking like that non-famous dude from wham! (george michael's singing partner), singing (yes, you read it right - and he has a nice voice actually) an 80s dance hit PoP! Goes my Heart.
and imagine him singing these lines composed by drew barrymore's character:
figuring out you and me is like doing a love autopsy...
the music was top-notch. the cast was great. the chemistry between hugh grant and drew barrymore was unmistakeable. the plot was tight. the dialogue was superb. an all in all great romantic comedy.

i kind of agree wid u guys..the movie sucked..in a way...
but i liked the CG transformations of JB into Ghost Rider....
they should have transformed also Blackheart into his true form (Remember Marvel vs. Capcom?)
well here's hoping to Iron Man, Spiderman 3, FF2, Hulk 2...

Its a bit strange don't you think coz the last time I checked Ghost Rider already earned like $60M at the US Box Office alone. Weird really weird. I guess there are that many Ghost Rider fans out there or just like me I was eager and curious for this movie until I saw it. Anyway Spider-man is still the one to beat.

Marvel didn't learn their mistake (Daredevil) for having Mark Steven Johnson again to direct Ghost Rider.
