According to reports, his limo had exploded right after the events of the June 11 episode of RAW. It was said that the Chairman of WWE had stated during the episode that "a dark cloud" was hanging over him, a possible premonition of the catastrophe that would befall on him later that night. Upon seeing it I was a little shocked but then knowing Vince McMahon I decided to make more research...
I've seen the video on YouTube and many people were skeptical. One reason was the camera man didn't even show any sign of shock upon that explosion.
If this is a hoax then they could have done really well while getting federal stuff involved. But then it's not really that good to joke about someone's death.

Yep I think these isn't much of a breaking news. I've search through CNN, Yahoo News or Google News, or even Fox News and BBC about the death of Mr.McMahon and there were none. I was also sceptical about these. And we all know that WWE is an Entertainment business empire. The erratic behavior of Mr.McMahon on past Raw or Smackdown is also very sceptical. Like what V2 has said give him a week or a month to show up.
But LOL if some one from a regular WWE Wrestlers (Like Eddie Guerrero or Owen Heart) has died we all are sad about it but when Mr.McMahon time has come we are all sceptical hehehe .... I don't know maybe just the way it is.

Err, if you guys watched the clip where McMahon's limo exploded, you can plainly see fireworks shooting from the "exploding" limo, even movies have a more realistic car explosion... ^_^;;
The script was that Linda McMahon would later be apprehended for the attempt on her husband's life...But that will be scratched due to the unforeseen circumstances regarding Benoit's death and his supposed homicide of his family...

it's indeed a storyline. unfortunately he came back when chris benoit died (after murdering his own family). vince's "death" is a storyline. Benoit's unfortunately, is very real.

Mr. McMahon was presumed dead. Mr. McMahon is an on-screen character of Vincent Kennedy McMahon. He is now back
