was only able to master tekken 3. Lei, xiaoyu and heihachi user here. on tekken 2 i used to play baek a lot but was never able to fully learn hwoarang in tekken 3, kinda weird. really couldnt relate when it comes to other versions of tekken. *sigh* the disadvantages of not owning a PS2. i was never a good palyer in the arcades since i couldnt seem to get used to a joystick. it was the pad that did it for me.

Hehe as a taekwondo practitioned I had a choice between baek and hwoarang but imo hwoarang has a massive move list and it's kinda hard for me to track whick kicks land in which stance therefore having a hard time combo-ing.

Lee and Law also has some variety of Kicks pero for me mas marami ata si Lee kaysa kay Law. But i often used Law always because of his summersault kicks very deadly indeed.

Oh yeah I forgot that I also use Law... my primary launcher now is d+2,3 since when a CH(counter hit) occurs, the somersault hit is guaranteed, and for the juggle, it's the Junkyard kick to DSS+the side kick... very nice looking, since after the juggle it gets finished by the ala Bruce Lee side kick, or if you can see that the opponent is going to hit a wall, do the flying kick (3+4) instead, makes for a very neat wall hit finish.
You gotta love Law's dss...

law has a lot of combo to boot, my bro uses different launchers but uses the same finisher (f,f+2,1,3) and its always takes half of my life bar away! *pif* tried using law but could never relate, i can use him fairly but not on a competitive basis d+2, 3 is nice if you can bait the opponent into a CH, but if its not.. get ready to eat a fast launcher ;D lee, now thats one cool dude, hit man stance, fast kicks, his 1, 2~f . . . oh one move to fear, b+3,3, ~4 .... d*mn,this move can even catch floating characters! ;D

we use either 1,2,3 or b+2 to bait the opponent into a CH. ;D btw does your bro knows the dss for law? while doing the b+2,3,4 press (b,f) then when the last hit of b+2,3,4 connects, press either f+3, or f+3+4. when you press b,f while doing the b+2,3,4 Law will automatically do the dragon stance after the 4 connects, enabling you to finish the combo with the side kick or a flying kick (for wall) you can also do the dss during the 4,3,4 kicks (you can input the f+3 of f+3+4 either during the 2nd hit or 3rd hit) www.youtube.com/?v=cokHi3nBU8kcheck out this vid, no need to finish loading, probably 1/4 is enough to show those dss finishes.

yah, he does we tested his combo with dss and the other ender... we found out the other ender had a tad bigger damaged, but the combo was harder to execute... i prefere the dss, he prefers the other one ... lol ;D

Cool I decided to spend gold for the blue pants for Baek Customization.
This day I managed to beat DR, with lots of practice on the early stages on the timing of pressing d+4, 3,3,3~f, and also the d/f+4,4,3~f since I think these are essential for tricking the opponent, and also I tend to button bash the 3 on those two commands, which I really need to get rid of especially when doing d+4,3,3, d+3 or d+4,3,3,3 or d+4,3,3~flamingo...

I got to modify my combos. I now start with hand launcher d/f+2, then go with two 3+4's then 1,2,3~flamingo then 1+2,4...
But then seeing how timing is very crucial in those 3+4 strings and might be dangerous if you can't pull it off correct in crucial game situations, I decided to do this instead.
d/f+2, 3+4~f, 1,2,3~fla 1,2,3~fla, 4 or 1+2,4... ;D

yes, I've managed to do 3 consecutive 3+4~f but my problem is in a real match this is quite hard to pull off unless mastered.
So in my case I only go for d/f+2, 3+4~f, 1,2,3~f x2 then 4.
sometimes the timing of the transition from flamingo to the 3+4 is quite hard to pull off until it's perfectly mastered, so I stick to much less damage but more sure to connect.
And the practice goes on.. ;D I rarely play DR nowadays due to a barrage of zoid orders so I only place one/twice whenever I visit GT makati, I just pass by timezone. ;D

haha ive been hooked by DR since it arrive in Bibo, 6 petot per game ;D ;D ;D with card reader!! ;D ;D timezone here cost 18 petot so... you do the math.. hehehe plus the pros are in Bibo so the more challenging it is ;D work limits me to play after work.. maybe a game or two on weekdays before going home.. and almost half the day during weekends ;D though people rarely use cards here.. though some are already planning to buy them.... *wish*

cool... well for me it's okay to be challenged by others but I don't challenge people since I'm just new to arcade tekken and games here cost 18-20 petot per game.
So I'd rather play alone than challenge a guy and get a chance to waste my money on a quick game.
I just find it hard to do f,f's on the arcade that's why I can't use Raven, he's one of my faves.
