Nintendo is indeed making a come-back with the Wii. I guess its more favorable price and the revolutionary controller is more than enough to entice the gamers despite it being the least-powerful in the next-gen consoles. Saw the Wii being sold at TK for 30k btw.

PS3 is no doubt the best next gen console. There's this GGRREAATT game called Resistance: Fall of Man. The game is enough reason to have the console. Awesome online play. Fast respawns. Awesome weapons and BADA$$ graphics. And another awesome thing is that they're planning on making WarCraft available for PS3... I CAN'T WAIT! Also you can play PS1 and PS2 games on it. But even if they will be able to make pirated discs available for game play I wouldn't buy it cause I don't want to risk having problems with my baby. And I suggest that after getting the PS3 start investing on an HDTV... I saw the Ridge Racer demo being played on a 40" HDTV in the mall... awesome!!! PS3 + 40"HDTV + beanbag + Pinacolada = PARADISE Nothing beats waking up to next to your PS3... Me and my hubby got 2... One for our living room and one for our gameroom... We also got the Wii... LOTS OF FUN!!! Anyone who has a Wii must get ZELDA: Twilight Princess And of course the Xbox360... TONS of awesome games... Gears of War was so much fun... I have replayed it more than 3 times... I'm playing LOST PLANET right now... There should be no competition between concoles because they're all unique to one another... and one similarity... FUN FUN FUN!!!

I wonder how much an XBOX360 costs right now... I'm itching to play Tenchu Senran and Ninja Gaiden for that console. BTW Philippines isn't supported by XBOX Live right? I wonder if it's worth getting an XNOX360 without XBOX Live...

www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3160818Bad news for owners of Xbox360( me included), seems that the "Ring of Death" has officially been acknowledged. Which means, us players own a potential ticking time bomb ready to explode.............I exaggerated, but the truth is it seems we've been shafted by an inferior use of materials in the construction of a great gaming machine. If I understand correctly, the chip set of board where the CPU is mounted is too thin which makes it bend and break under extreme heat. Microsoft says that they will offer a warranty on defective Xbox360's with the "ring". Good for countries that have an official MS console presence but what about us gamers in the Philippines?

for 360 3RL victims you can check out the repairs of ronald at pinoypxb. his warranty is alright and proven to fix those 3RL problems. much better to have it checked (if it cannot be repaired no payment) instead of having an expensive paper weight at home

I wonder if it's worth getting an XNOX360 without XBOX Live... I think XBOX360 right now cost 18K while the PS3 has a price drop of 24K or 26K that is for the 40GB version pf PS3 only. The PS3 40GB is a bang for the buck console but there is a catch here. The PS3 40GB ver. can't play PS2 games this means that they have eliminated the Backward compatibility. But they left out PSOne titles only good for those who own FFVII hehehe. Also they only include 2 usb ports and also eliminated the card reader. Next Gen Consoles right now is getting more cheaper. I hope in the next coming months we will see the current line up of next gen console that has a price range of $199.

What about the backward compatibility updates? I heard it was program specific now aka download update and not hardware based?(SONY removed the the EE chip)

Street Fighter IV cost around 2800 while Resistance 2 cost around the same price. Too bad SFIV in Datablitz is only in Region 2 but its ok. Blue Rays haven't been sparrowed yet THANK God for that one but i dont want to talk about that one.
