ahahaha.. indeed it is. are you planning to customize the dendro msia of yours? i'm planning to customize mine in the future... it's so pale kasi without any much details/ decals... i'll start with its torpedoes..  hehe. no. i prefer not to do any re-touches or customizations on my MSiA's. Strictly do re-touches only on my kits.  But, yes. It's quite plain since it doesn't have any panel lines or decals.  Uh, are you sure Wing Zero won't just fly off from those boxes?  Nice WIP pics of Heavy Arms! could you take some more pictures of the mods you did with the head? I'm curious as to what you did with it. Thanks! ;D MSIA? thats a action figure right? the color of HGUC dendro is pretty much real. dont have to color it but mine is still waiting inside the box.. hahahhahaha no time assemble. |

@ rainero: Thanks for the kind words sir. Actually i just did that for props, or shall we say for pictorial purposes. PilapZ: AMIGO!! nice for you to drop by... Actually, it because of you guys that this was made possible. At first, i never wanted to collect gundams again since it would end up on someone's hand or if not, manual wear and tear as the days go by... But lurking in this forum for quite some time made me realize how cool they were.. most especially when customized. (Drama na toh!) Thanks for all the help fellowz!! @robertzod: Thanks sir robert. I'm still starting to understand "painting" and as well as "customizing" the kits... It's always good to see you guys create yours and learn from them.. I tried to combine skills as well... (from what i have learned from pilapz, sir qb, and tagabukid... hopefully yours too for the decals.. ahahahah. I don't think i can apply master vic's work since he is using air compressor and the detailings or modifications he is doing... it's super advanced for me.. ahahah @qb: I do agree that it is simple. I loved it that way but what gave me a negative view on the item was it's missiles... T'was so plain and i hope if decals would arrive.. i'm going to put nuclear signs on it (just for the missiles though)  Btw, no probs.. I'll try to disassemble the kit and will give you a comparison.. (but it is nothing much though, it was that it just took me a long time to think on what to do.. ahaha) Lady Commander: Nice of you to drop by ma'am. yes, msia is actually an action figure.. (already built).. I guess this would be the biggest msia produced, not sure though. I wanted to grab one msia devil gundam- the one that looks like a centipede... I hope it is big as well... I do agree with the HGUC dendro but i could not relate with it's size since i never got one.. It's a sting- 14k. aww  kingferic: thanks pre! i really wanted this kit.. one reason since it is my fav.. another is that you can make a lot of details due to the # of armaments...

wow! heavy arms custom! it's one of the kits i would beg bandai to make an MG version of. congrats and i must say it looks great!
whenever i see a heavy arms custom an old saying comes to mind- and it goes: "tumakbo ka na habang may lupa!" cheers!

thanks pre, i never had any other tools eh so that is why i can only do less customs with h-arms.. but still i wanted it to be justified so i make the detailings possible. I still got no news from lordson, i don't know if it was cancelled though. so i might stick with the kit unfinished... no decals, no topcoat.. /sob  |

wow a major major uber haul you have there Sir!!!!  I can smell the "katas ng promotion" in the air hahahahah! How much did you get that massive dendro? Ive been contemplating on getting the 1/144 kit in GT greenhills.... what do you think?  congrats and happy building sir!!!  hmmm... if i am not mistaken- are you referring to the 1/144 hguc dendro? the one that's around 14K? i've seen someone selling it though but i don't think sir malvs has it. well, hope to see your dendro pre!! bring it on! ;D ;D ;D hahahaha im still thinking/contemplating in getting that dendro.... and yes there is a stock in GT Greenhills and your right with the price php14k... hahahha I'll think ill get that as a birthday present for myself come December (still a long way to go to save bucks) keep it up Sir and more power!! |

@ mias: Ah I thought that it was displayed permanently on top of those boxes. I had a bad experience before when I had mg wing 0, it was diplayed quite high and accidentally it falled down and some parts destroyed and I sold them as scraps. |

Despite it's heavy artillery, it has been proven many times that it has reached its limits- more realistic i should say. RainerO: Eheheheh. I encountered that too for my other toys like my ML sentinels. One of which had a crack on it and instead of selling it 3k, just sold it for 1k.. what a loss  But experience would always be the best teacher... so- never do it again.. ahahah

I'm a bit dizzy right now, i guess i'm having a slight fever so i decided not to go to work and rest for a bit. T'was lunch when bossing (wifey) called and was requesting me to eat something... Since there's no food at home, i tried to go to ayala to have lunch and as well dropped by to buy some stuff, i actually had a budget since my lupin diorama (gasha) was sold to someone in paranaque... ;D So i bought some items for my upcoming project.... I guess i'll go with rj spraycans, i haven't tested them yet.. got this from national- a blutack, another .3 sign pen, and as well as a stabilo marker colored yellow for a few details on my next project which is.... Minor updates on Heavy Arms Custom Project This is to answer sir qb's inquiry on the head (My birthday gift to ya! ahahah). I tried pondering on things as to how to go with it and luckily pulled it off. I have never seen anyone having this issue though. So first, disassemble the head part... Too bad, this one is fitted tightly and doesn't wanna go loose... so, i'll be showing to you the other head that was for the other 1/100 hg h-arms custom that i messed up.. If you see the yellow part for the eyes that is held with the use of a tweezer.. that is what i am actually referring to. I tried to insert it on the head part and it seems like the eyes are depressed... Tried pushing it though, still no go.. Here's a clearer view of the depressed-like eyes... SOLUTION: I thinned the yellow part that gets inserted into the head so it can go through an extra cm.. and as well as lowered the sticker for the eyes instead of really sticking it to the yellow part- it works for me... ;D Back to the H-Arms work.... Let me share to you my working table, i was not able to buy a cutting mat since it was so big and the price was 500+. I guess i don't need such size to do gunpla.. so, i'll just wait for a smaller one.. heheh From upper left: I have the tapes, a bottle filled with tootpicks (to replace barbeque sticks), regular brush for dusting, scissors, scraps, the model (to see the progress.. it serves as a striving force too.. ehehe), other parts in sprues, sand papers, coloring pens (gundam markers, tech/sing pen, and.. woah- did i misplace that pentel pen there? omg), surgical swabs with alcohol (lols), cutting tools (nail cutter and as well as the regular cutter), and cutted strips for sanding.... Seeing this is so lonely, as if there were no life at all... I'm thinking that the missiles for the legs and as well as the hips has no color in it.. and it wouldn't be uniform with the ones on the torso.. major thing- it seems pale.. hahah So i tried to experiment.... Applying a red colored marker on the parts w/o paint-.. omg, it is not visible... So i tried to mask and after a half day of work..... There you go.. Uniform at last! It gave me a hard/ difficult time in doing these details.. aww man, bandai should give this an MG... look at it's artillery!! Blurred one... Boosters... ( i tried to go with flourescent orange, but nah... I still need to do final updates on the arms too... *sigh) Back view Shy effect... A noob pose... That's all for now... Thanks for viewing and hope i can open the box found on that background (just as lotur requested). |

miasongopen it! open it! hehehe. but yeah, i agree. decals would definitely improve the overall look of the MSiA Dendrobium. I might do that as well once I find some suitable decals and I find a place to actually display it. Hehe. Space concerns. great WIP pics bro. and thanks for the pics regarding the head. ;D
