another tidbit to clear up guys:
just recalled the axis fleet- why are they being referred to as some sort of neutral unit without affiliation? the group seemed pretty much untouchable during the zeon-feddie conflict... but in reality they blatantly supported the former, even gave the neueziel as a gift to gato ;D

after the events of 0079, most of the zeon remnants that survived the one year war retreated to the giant asteroid axis and moved away from the earth sphere - in which was known as the axis fleet (they later renamed themselves as "neo zeon" in the ZZ series).
eventually before their return back to the earth sphere at zeta gundam(UC 0087), they were still in the process of rebuilding and strengthening their military power - wherein they couldnt pledge full-scale support and risk facing a retaliation from the federation. despite this, they supported the ideals of stardust, and handed over the mobile armor neue ziel.
you'll see during the scene where the axis generals are discussing the situation, haman karn is shown commenting about being "cold".

what drives me into the startdust memory is the huge weapon system of the stamen gundam. I wish i have all these gundam stuff on file. The link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gundam really troubles me of so much gundam series.. wish i can watch/read them all. ahaha ;D @ vlad: it has a 1/144 form and it is really huge.. if i'm not mistaken, it is around 12-14k php. |

yep. its a space-only unit. the development of the GP03 as a unit that has the weapons platform, speed and defenses capable of taking down mobile armors was just in time to counter the neue zuel. Yes, just in time to counter the Neue Ziel (one of the most bad*** mobile Armors I have seen). If its I-field generator wasn't destroyed, i think that the Neue Ziel would have had a more difficult time dealing with the Dendrobium. **I intentionally used asterixes in place of a certain word. ;D |
