but somehow its just not right seeing convoy in silver.
and i wouldnt be surprised if they churned out an ultra magnus (white) and nemesis prime (black) soon!

It's not the kind of convoy that I used to know except for the head, but anyway it's great thing to have!

It would be great if they made Convoy a GTR-34 SKYLINE. The R-34 is a BEAST in grip racing.

From tformers.com: "TakaraTomy explains Alternity at Tokyo Toy Show 2008: 1. Alternity is a different series from Binaltech. 2. The size is 1/32 scale so it can easily fit on any desktop. The size is slightly larger than deluxe size figures. 3. The pricing scheme was based on today's cost of the various materials used. 4. There are two colors of the car because the silver was used to represent a real NISSAN GT-R color that is only available now and the red was chosen specifically because it is a Convoy. 5. When transformed, the rear seats becomes the feet, the front seats when folded down becomes part of the armor surrounding the arms and the roof and the front grill have a spring action mechanism. The video demonstrates the spring action mechanism where the front grill is divided into three pieces: right, left and center. The right and left sides encloses the center piece. 6. Because the license is heavily under the supervision of NISSAN, we would like sales schedule to start in November but it may be delayed to the end of the year. 7. Other Observations: The design of the head is similar to Nike and Fire Convoy." from another tformer post: "Also of interest, and already known, was that the toy, similar to Binaltech, will use diecast pieces in its creation. Of course, it will be smaller than the 1/24 scale Binaltech line was, but it looks like much of that detail, and realism will be kept intact." Keyword: diecast.

Hmmm...around the same size as a deluxe figure(2008 Bumblebee) but around 2k?
I hope a plastic version pops up...

Is it a limited run (because of the Nissan tie up) or this is going to replace the Binaltech/Alternator series? (It was mentioned before that they will stop the Alternator series...) If he's the same size as a De-luxe version then the only thing that would matter is the price when it comes out in specialty shops and if the local distributor will have them around. It could shoot up to 2,500
