i searched google and read infos from this and other forums and decided to try torso mod. ambitious for a total newbie but i wouldnt know if i can when i don't try ;D i have crap tools. just a hobby knife, nipper, and scissors. but i was driven to train with Lunamaria's Gunner Zaku. ------------ ------------ the plan is to mod the torso so it can be more mobile. so divide the upper body in half. after 12483 years then the front trim abit for allowance test hard to lean back so trim some more i didnt have enough materials so i skipped the lower part and head to the waist. removed the male part and put a little hole. socket part 1/100 from a bashed kit. plan make hole bigger for socket part to fit trim the insides to make way for socket part's landing point yey ;D testing of parts of they fit(esp the landing point) success waist part preview i need some comments if im doing the right thing plzplz tell me if i need some parts to be improved! later i'll go out and buy some putty and plates. where do you guys think i can get those? TYIA ;D

Try using the macro feature on your camera bro for you to be able to take clear close up pictures. Good luck on your WIP. Looking forward to the finished product.

again i woke up late. 7pm. after eating and taking a bath i rushed at Lil's Mega to inquire about tamiya putty and pla plates, sadly they only have putty so i decided to take it anyway instead of taking home nothing. went straight to Lil's Park Square as the saleslady told me but it was already closed when i arrived. will probably not sleep today and come back there in a normal person's time of open eyes. updates trimmed back part of lower abdomen part as it collides to upper part and avoid better lean back poses. also put tamiya putty basic type on bottom abdomen part. applied putty on upper and mid part of waist. waiting to dry fine. ty for the view bros. at least i know my wip is being observed. "putty melts plastic" "putty must be left overnight" "putty fades when scribed" are some of the infos gathered. can you guys give some tips about putty? what brand are fit to use? i read something about milliput and epoxy but tried tamiya basic type instead because i didn't get the chance to go to Lil's Park Square i really want to improve. nice to learn something new. it's better when someone gives a slap, leading to the right path comments are very much welcome

update ------------ TOOL LEVEL UP! finally the right tool i got from Lil's Park Square ------------ fit test on lower body as putty dried fine. measuring middle abdomenal part for another cut and putting putty. elevate putty level on lower part. apply putty on mid abdomenal part. measured size of bottom part of lower abdomenal part on paper and trace on pla plate. will be glued to bottom of lower abdomenal, then put peg under when dried. test fit and elevating putty level. as i wait for putty to dry, i scribed lines on the head. filled gaps with putty. 8am i am sleepy hahah. hope they dry fine when i wake up ;D

ty very much mias. dont worry, if this mod is successful i will post in full detail. for now here are some UPDAAATES! hollow the insides made scrap spine and cut pla plates to be put under lower abdomenal part as filler the male part to be put under lower abdomenal the waist part has no action base slot it now has sakto! test fit lower and upper abdomenal hollowed left shoulder armor as it sucks up left shoulder mobility the cord part sucks up leg posing so i am thinking of a substitute when the legs stretches, the knee area is blanked out so saw the knee armor away~ put a putty as guide on what to do with the legs. operating the legs for more free space and movements as again waiting for them putties to dry.
