Guys hows the MG Unicorn Gundam? Is there a way to directly build the kit into its destroyer mode? Is it a good kit? Also does it have upgrade parts like the Hazel?

MG Unicorn... very limited articulation, doesn't use polycaps, joints tend to loosen up quite quickly. It is a good display kit (in standing pose only IMO) here's dalong's review www.dalong.net/review/mg/mg102/mg102_p.htmwhat do you mean by directly building it into Destroy mode, what for? Just build the kit as is then transform it into Destroy mode then your done. upgrade parts released was beam gatling gun set. www.dalong.net/review/mg/m102s/m102s.htm

Somehow sir there is a direct way when assembling it and direct into destroy mode. By making adjustments of not following directly the instruction manual.

Cause I heard that transforming it from unicorn to destroyer mode can put a strain to the toy. Im hoping that direct building it to destroyer mode would lessen the strain on the kit.

I actually broke 1 part coz of this... the skirt slide is very fragile.

technically, you can "assemble" it in destroy mode provided you thoroughly compare the transformation and assembly notes and assemble it that way.

Also does it have upgrade parts like the Hazel? nice we both favor the destroy mode ;D i think this is possible pre, problem with the unicorn mode is some joints lock up during snapbuild which makes it pretty tough t o maneuver into destroy. you can always try to do it body part at a time but before snap fitting the major ones always take a look at the end of the manual to check the transformation page. by such you are changing to destroy on-the-fly. be careful with the front skirts in destroy as gn mentioned- its definitely the most fragile portion of the kit imho. the thigh joints (ugh), arm/leg/knee and feet extenders really get loose quick, so gluing can be an option. good luck with the build! wip pics please! ;D

And very unfortunately that for the second time gt has only one again...Before when we have a conversation with malvs he said that it pricey and for him it's not a hot item. But what now a great number of gunpla collectors and fanatics are gunning or going ga-ga for it. He mentioned that the item is sold out or out of stock in japan...

Same observation here. The kit is good looking especially if it is in its destroy mode. ;D You can assemble it directly with its destroy mode but it took me to jump from pages to pages when using the manual since it was my first MG built. However, it's articulation failed my expectations. I was actually hoping that I can do much with it since it's a master grade. It just took me 7 positions while I was taking pictures with the built kit and arms went loose. The decals are expected to give details on it since it's a ver ka edition. I like the white parts' composition (or the plastic used for the white parts), sanding them was an ease. I found it good looking, observing it fully assembled without the top coat applied yet...
