i didnt know figmas are made in china, i was just wondering if my drossel is fake coz i just saw the "made in china" in the figma stand, my first thought on seeing it was its pretty good for a fake, anyway thx for the info..

Usually bootlegs have weaker joints and are really prone to breakage. Verify that and if your Figma's okay, no problem.

You can easily check if your drossel figma is a bootleg based on the paint apps of the design on her Obruchev (the flight headgear). Also if the plugs on her cheek are white instead of black, its a bootleg. Drossel's eyes also are a giveaway if they don't have that certain light dispersion when light hits it. Generally, a bootleg plastic is also noticeable for its lower quality. Alas I only know how to spot a bootleg figma. Does anyone know how to spot a bootleg figma Meiya Mitsurugi? Am seeing some cheap deals but not sure if they're bootlegs and I don't know what to check.

I also saw a live version Hatsune Miku figma which has the price lower than the normal Hatsune Figma..I'm almost certain it's hard to find so I'm wondering if the one I saw is a BL or not since it's perfectly the same as the one I saw in Wasabitoys..luckily I didn't buy it since my friend told me not to take the price but look at the rarity level first..

really?? but according to some authorized sellers online, the live stage version is way higher than the normal Figma released? and based on what I saw on most reviews, the live version is quite rare to get this time around..anyway, I'll go check that Miku I saw and compare it to the one GT will have..

live stage version is wonderfest exclusive
normal miku figma was released some time ago and is crap as hard to find as well

id say go for live stage version, you get papercraft wings and other neat stuff in addition to the stage. only reason to buy the orig version is if youre a strict collector/some chance its cheaper or if you like the closed lips smiling face miku

I think ther's none. I don't think that figma can be bootleged due to fact that it was released long time ago..and if there was a BL..it should've been abundant in the net..

Almost every products not only toys but others are made in China nowadays, since the labor cost is quite cheap there.

I wanna agree with that but in most cases..products are only assembled and packaged in china while parts of it are mostly made in different parts of the world..been sniffing around a bit and found out that the box do say "made in china" but the contents are somewhat made in japan,US,UK, etc...so we can all say that bootleging is abundant there because most items are assembled there thus exposing it's manufacturing process..
